Geez, don't they realize that part of the learning experience is messing stuff up?
I was one who the teacher's trusted on the computers and even had me set things up but there were other students who were out to cause havoc just to see if they could do it.
Even I messed up from time to time. I bet playing doom after hours would be considered "disrupting the network." We were just having fun!!
I know everyone hates Jon Katz. It's evident on these forums that no one likes to read his garbage. I'd say 1 out of 10 of his postings are decent reading material.
If we truly didn't like reading his stuff we'd block him as an author in our settings.
The truth is, we like reading his posts just to see how dumb they're going to be. I know I do at least.
Corporations are helpless without their programmers.
Companies that go out of their way to comply with the DMCA (dick munch cocksucker association) should lose their best people to companies that understand why the DMCA is a Very Bad Thing.
I like the old method better where only the new registrar sends out a confirmation letter.
The new method adds one additional step.
Net sol sends out a confirmation that you have to confirm in additional to the confirmation e-mail that your new register sends you.
I suppose it's more secure with both parties sending out the letter, but the disadvantage is that net sol can take literally weeks to allow the transfer.
If they could automate this system I suppose I wouldn't have any complaints.
Don't they realize that by switching from free to paid library scheme, where a book still has to be purchased to loan it out, they will be causing people to copy it and transfer it to digital format?
It might happen regardless, but by charging for access to it at a free library the chances are much higher.
We jump to conclusions too easily and judge it as fact.
I doubt we'll ever know how old the earth is. I see new theories all the time stating it's older or younger than the numbers that are generally accepted by evolutionists.
And Moore's law isn't a law at all. It's just a theory.
The hair was unbelievable. My hats off to the people that put it all together.
Spoiler Review:
Dr. Aki is infested with a contained Phantom. They are searching for 8 spirits. They have found 5 of them when the movie starts. They recover the 6th from a plant. Aki's lover is a Captain of the defense team and gets infested as well. She kills it in the brink of time in the test lab.
She keeps having the same dream over and over again and gets further and further through it each time.
In time they discover that the Phantoms are Ghosts of aliens that had their homeworld destroyed. They can see them when they're full of energy. And somehow the phantoms die from bullets, explosions, etc.
The bad guy is a General who looks very similar to Seifer from FF8. He wants to attack the Phantoms with a Zues weapon. The council keeps prolonging it as Aki and Dr. Cid (Her mentor) search for other solutions. He finally takes things into his own hands and lets the Phantoms penatrate their defenses. He underestimates them and they take over the place killing nearly everyone. He escapes to the Zues space station.
They find the 7th spirit in a backpack battery from a dead soldier and again nearly die trying to escape.
Aki goes to the surface to find the final spirit.
The General continously fires the laser causing the Phantom to get more and more powerful. The Captain dies and Aki completes the 8 spirits by letting one of the Phantoms find her.
The movie ends as a bird they saw earlier flies off into the distance.
I left a ton of stuff out, but that's some of what happened.
The music and graphics were awesome! Not the best plot when compared to the games, but it went well with the final fantasy style.
Later!
P.s. Has anyone else beaton Omega from FF5? I have! I have! (I'm very proud of that accomplishment.)
1. Postal spam... I send it back with some "goodies" in their postage paid envelopes.
2. Where do we draw the line? Well, think about it in the terms of operating a business. I have several domains for my business and my customers. I often receive e-mail to my webmaster accounts which pisses me off incredibly. It's totally untargeted and it's not meant for spammers to waste my time by sneding spam to it.
3. I agree on the charging bit. If we charge spammers, that sets precedents to charge everyone for e-mail. However, we can fine them for breaking rules.
Get yours while it's hot!

Not hurting a thing.
Paste the below text into the interactive demo.
The fun never ends!
Your momma so fat, when she wears a red dress the neighborhood kids down the street see her and yell, Cool Aid!!
I bought quite a bit of useful stuff in the past from them. It's too bad they had to blow all the money they got from me on popup ads.
But at least I didn't do it anonymously. heh.
Ah, Thanks for the info! Very helpful.
How would one find out about the Google cache?
I've never seen it publicized and I don't see any information about it on their site.
Thanks again!
Matt
I thought I was doing everyone a favor and I didn't know about the google cache.
If I could get Hollie from Red Dwarf installed in my car, I think I'd do it.
As long as it wasn't that silly toaster that just wanted to make me toast and crumpets... that would be a disaster.

If there were any man in this entire world that can uphold the law, it is John Ashcroft.
Even if he doesn't agree with the law he will abide by it.
Shut your pie hole!
I've never used that feature(I do my own DNS), but I do believe you can have them do your DNS as well.
I don't remember seeing management for actual dns records but I've never really looked for it.
I use discountdomainregistry.com for everything.
Not 100% perfect, but pretty close.
All changes are very near realtime.
$14.99/year or less.

It seems like he would have picked someone more powerful than superman.
I mean come on, superman even has a weakness, some of us don't.

I thought the movie rocked!
The graphics are approaching realistic!

Would they think that their equipment was broken when they saw 10 second 1/4 mile passes?
Adobe has the right to keep Illustrator exclusive as their name for any vector based drawing tool.
KIllustrator should just switch it's name to KVector. No big deal.
Sorry after watching fast and the furious, I feel like NOS is the end all solution to every problem!
I kind of wish they would have added one more picture to compare which was an actual high res shot.
So you could compare low res, high res, and filtered high res.
They do look impressive though!
If it's digitally signed by verisign or some other authorized company, the spam should be traceable and the sender accountable right?
