The problem with 'the cloud' is that no two experts can agree on what 'the cloud' is.
Cloud = computers systems and applications (or "apps", if you will) accessible and executed from the Internet. No? I never knew there was a question about what the Cloud is.
It could have been way cooler if they used multiple cameras, or at least one more pointing down toward Earth. And how feasible would it have been to add some sort of shared storage device so they wouldn't run out of space and could record the entire flight?
You mean...I don't NEED a phone line to access the internet!? I called AOL and they assure me that I do. I think these TV guys don't know what they are talking about.
Same here. Totally off topic, but the other day I have to have some blood work done for my yearly military work-up and the *very* green phlebotomist went through the whole procedure and after about two minutes and one vial starting complaining about how slow my blood flows. I wasn't going to because it was amusing and I was having fun, but I went ahead and pointed out that she never removed the tourniquet. Amazing how much faster it came out after that...and how red she got from the embarrassment. I bet she doesn't do that again.
Maybe I'm confused about how this site is supposed to work, but it seems like in the past the articles were more from the author's point of view instead of just regurgitation and links back to other journalists who actually did the research. What am I missing?
...before they start building heartbeat and moisture sensors into the mouse so they can gauge emotional responses to what's on the screen. Then they can really target specific demographics. Or at least sell the information so others can.

This is the ultimate in bullying someone that doesn't deserve it. Kinda like the poor fat kid in middle school that got beat up by the entire football team because they didn't like the way I smelled.
Some of us have to work. I don't have time for much more than a simple find and replace. No one's gonna mod either one of us up anyways, cause then they'd have to admit they know the song.
My 15 year old daughter, and probably all other other teens/tweens out there, likes to "collect" friends, whether she really knows them or not. having tons of contacts on FB affords her bragging rights in her circle of real friends. So, if she has to name some of them before being allowed to access her home page, then I guess I can remove the time restriction to that domain from my firewall, cause she'll never get in again.
No, I don't use IE. But I just tried and it works fine. One thing I noticed is that the slide-bar to change what comments show up works in IE but not FF. That's the only issue I've seen so far, though.
I think it's a nice, clean look. Most people are complaining because it's different than what they are used to. OTOH, I don't use all the extra's that some people here like to use like zooming fonts and what-not. I read everything at a resolution my old eyes can handle.

I agree...that's one word that get used a lot that people don't really know anything about. It used to be "virtual" and more recently, "nano".
Bah...thank you.
I guess someone should have told him to point the death ray AWAY from the window.
Both games seem to have been taken down from the App Store.
If we had a good layer I'd never get any work done.

They could run it off a MacBook Air...
Not anymore...they hired these guys
Am I off here, or should that have been: "Some sites that were previously unavailable..."?
Grammar Nazis, help me out here....
It's Facebook, Twitter and boobies...right?

Heh...tell us how you really feel.

I'm bringing telnet back
Them other boys don't know how to act
I think it's special what's behind your back
So turn around and i'll pick up the slack.
Take em' to the bridge
[Bridge]
Dirty babe
You see these shackles
Baby I'm your slave
I'll let you whip me if I misbehave
It's just that no one makes me feel this way
Take em' to the chorus
[Chorus]
Come here girl
Go ahead, be gone with it
Come to the back
Go ahead, be gone with it
VIP
Go ahead, be gone with it
Drinks on me
Go ahead, be gone with it
Let me see what you're working with
Go ahead, be gone with it
Look at those hips
Go ahead, be gone with it
You make me smile
Go ahead, be gone with it
Go ahead child
Go ahead, be gone with it
And get your telnet on
Go ahead, be gone with it
Get your telnet on
Go ahead, be gone with it
[X6]
Get your telnet on
[Verse 2]
I'm bringing telnet back
Them other boys don't know how to act
Come let me make up for the things you lack
Cause your burning up I gotta get it fast
Take em' to the bridge
[Bridge]
[Chorus]
[Verse 3]
I'm bringing telnet back
Them other boys watch while I attack
If that's your girl you better watch your back
Cause she'll burn it up for me and that's a fact
Take em' to the chorus
[Chorus]
She would laugh at the 69 in your name, too...even the teachers know to belt a preemptive "har har" before asking them to turn to page 69.

What does it matter? Are you running a VM server in the background or something? Most people's computer are sitting there idle anyways.

All in all, good change.
