    I believe everyone should own some piece of technology from their birth year to let them know just how old they are. I have a 1963 car sitting in my driveway, and BOY does it look old...

    I also don't like agreeing with Jobs. But as long as consumers still have choices, he can do what he wants.

    I won't do business with Apple, but as long as they don't have a monopoly or near-monopoly they can be dicks to whomever they want, charge whatever they want, put unreasonable restrictions on their own offerings, etc.

    Short haul truckers will resist this, but I doubt they have a good lobby...yet.

    USPS, UPS and FedEx will like this IF they are involved. Otherwise they will fight it tooth and nail.

    The Soviets almost never used to crack codes. They just social-engineered (blackmail, sex, gifts, schmoozed, etc) to get all the information they wanted.

    It's how Mitnick did most of his work as well.
