Home break-ins in the US while the owner or family member is home has the lowest rate in the entire western world. This is because criminals do not like to be killed by a gun owner when they commit crime.

How about enforced and targeted regulation. Instead of regulating everything from the central bureaucracy, have targeted federal regulations that protect only true problems between states and other countries.
Let the states regulate within a state and the people in that state can decide the balance between industry and protection.

If a company impacts other peoples property or life they need to be fully compensate. I live in an area where IBM dumped chemicals, there has been debate on 'what to do' about it for decades. It's easy. IBM pays to clean it or pays to lease the effected area for 100 years. Once a company realizes if they break a window, they have to fix it, it doesn't sound as fun anymore.

Now I might not agree with the Tea Party on using big government to push social issues, but a massive reduction of the federal government is the only way to stop a collapse of the US economy. As it stand now if we took all the money, 100%, from the top earners in the US FOREVER we still would never pay our debt off at the rate our spending is increasing.
Spending. Spending. Spending. Until we realize spending is the problem, the problems will continue.
Obama is a literal moron. At the same time he wants to use the federal government to push for more engineers he also is blaming automation and machines for why the recession is not getting better. Obama's example was a simple ATM. He noted that if there were not ATMs then tellers would be employed, but a machine does it instead.
Obama is as close as you can get to a hypocritical Luddite. He wants to fund the training of more engineers while demonizing all the machines they create. It's the same with healthcare. Obama says he wants Obamacare to help everyone, but instead it is causing doctors to resin in droves and 30,000 businesses to prepare to drop employer based coverage.
Obama is here to take our money and give it to his friends. Once you come to grips with that you will be better off.
