    I don't think that'll be a problem, I live in Finland and we actually still have rights here as far as telecommunications goes. Nothing is filtered except for the website blocklist that the police forces ISPs to block childporn on a DNS level. I have yet to see anything get blocked through my 3G, I've downloaded lots of Linux LiveCDs through P2P networks through 3G.

    This is extremely off-topic, but this is a good place to ask this question. Could I host Asterisk on my VPS and then call other people through Asterisk with my Nokia phone that supports SIP (both through WiFi and 3G/3.5G). Basically, SIP-call to my friend's SIP-supporting phone who's connected to my Asterisk, from my SIP-supporting phone that's connected to the same Asterisk. Figure it would basically be free calling since we all have unlimited 3G plans.

    If it's cheap, sure I'll get one, I like new obscure hardware designed to do weird things. And that's not sarcasm. But social networking sites as Twitter and Facebook are free, so the hardware would have to be extremely cheap. If it's over 75-100€, the only people buying them are people who want to hack it so they can use it for something else and paranoid people.

    I have a Nokia E51 so it has the good old basic 3-letters and a number per key (except 7 has 4 letters). Today I ordered a 18€ bluetooth keyboard for my cellphone so I can type like mad on the cellphone. Symbian-version of Putty + server at home + small, pocket-sized bluetooth keyboard + 3.5G connection = enjoyment

    I haven't really had anything, but my mother.. another story. First the phone was my big brother's. It dropped on some sort of automated painting line. First submerged in paint and then heated in an oven, works fine. Gave to my mom, she forgot it in her pants, goes through some washing, still works. The battery started dying so bought a new tho'.
