    How much energy is spend drilling and pumping oil, transporting it and refining it? Of course, you get more than petrol from oil.

    How do you determine the center in reality other than by asking people what they think? The US center is overall more to the right when compared to Europe but compared to Asia we would be more to the left.

    they lucky it worked as it did. Imagine if one didn't fail and they couldn't get into orbit.

    Hypervelocity KE rounds will be hard to intercept and should be available in 20 years or so. Taking down a carrier would be such a large victory, the enemy can lose many assets in the process and still consider it a victory.
