    The big problem for the Wii is that pretty much only Nintendo makes good games for it.

    I just recently purchased punchout and I think probably 95% of my current Wii game library are first party Nintendo titles.

    Yep and you could run windows in a virtual machine with NAT setup and the client installed. That way, they'd get to scan "your machine" but wouldn't be able to access anything on the Linux side.

    Right, Java wasn't ever cool, which is why every major software company seems to be scrambling to make their own Java style platform (.NET, the new Flash stuff, etc).

    There's millions and millions of them out there.

    It might be a small number compared to the handheld market itself, but it's definitely a large enough sample for most metrics.

    You should try Ubuntu Linux.

    It's great and doesn't require an IT pro to manage it, so you should be all set. :)
