I'm not the original poster, but having gcc on a machine is indeed a potentially security problem.
I'm not sure what the original poster is talking about.
The JVM has had a few security issues now and again but the real problem has been the browser plugin (which isn't really related to the JVM/JRE at all). The plugin(s) also suck and Snoracle never cared enough to make them decent or secure.
Man, you're still pissed off about Xenix?
Why is this post modded Insightful and not +5 Retarded.
Google bought android way before they knew about the iphone.
I had a tmob G1, it was a fine phone.
Sure, the current phones are better but the G1 is very old now (in mobile phone years).
Chrome-ium?
Same'd.
That's because no one has been remotely successful with Mono.
If Android was built using parts of Mono instead of Apache Harmony, all the handset makers would be sued by Microsoft on two fronts.
With Apple's reality distortion field totally disabled, this can no longer be turned into a feature for the end user.
My outlook does not look good.
Two years later, Microsoft will release the xBone 7.
Hilarity ensues.
What the fuck are you talking about? GNOME 2 added so much and worked just like GNOME 1... just less 80's style.
But I fucking hate both GNOME 3 and Unity with a passion.
Canonical and the GNOME tools fucked up a good thing that was GNOME 2.
Now get off my lawn.
haha, you know Ballmer saw this and urgently memo'd his staff "WE MUST CLONE THIS ASAP SO I CAN FUCKING KILL GOOGLE!!!@?!"
And now here comes Bingmail Motion Kinect 8 Business Edition Professional.
Sculley traded Apple's good reputation for short term profits.
I wouldn't exactly call that saving Apple, it's typical MBA idiocy.
Better yet, can we extract DNA and start a Jurassic Park with this discovery?
If so, sign me up for the beta!
I'm going to fucking kill Google. I've done it before and I will do it again.
-Steve...Jobs?
Yeah but US tax payers repay the banks when the original loan recipient stops paying.
gg college
It's a dead platform I'd always say.
Why so ATI can fuck it up like they always do?
And before you bitch further, yes I know it's RTP that causes all the issues with NAT. But SIP relies on RTP, so it's still an issue with SIP.
STUN is a horrible bandaid for a bad committee driven design.
Sorry you picky fucking retard, the SIP protocol.
SIP is a nightmare when it comes to the ubiquitous NAT'd firewalls everyone has.
Whoever designed the SIP codec didn't learn from FTP.
As long as it isn't Linux!
So what they mean is, they're going to do a search and replace to make it compile as a C# application.

I recently installed cyanogenmod on my HTC Sensation... specifically to get rid of the Sense UI.
