I doubt that caller was unsuspecting if they had that many tickets logged. I get this from time to time where I work. I ALWAYS cc their manager and copy in the procedures for contacting the help desk. It makes a difference.
I had the same thoughts as an earlier poster about test driving cell plans, so I contacted Verizon (local-ish decent provider around here). Apparently, you can return the stuff within 15 days worry free. Don't know about others.
Their response: With the Verizon Wireless Worry Free Guarantee, your satisfaction is guaranteed for 15 days on any equipment you purchase from us. You pay only for the service, airtime, toll and roaming you have used. If for any reason you are not satisfied, you may return your purchase within 15 days.
Yamaha makes some amazing stuff, and it's affordable. I've got a pair of NSA-200XT's that sound better than anything else I've heard in a showroom under $1000. Total cost $350 at my local best buy. Three way with dual 8"s being used as my front channel with a toshiba DVD and H/K CD player. rated to 220watts they'll handle almost anything. Best money I've spent in the past year. My friend's Bose 501's don't sound as good and cost about 4x as much.

That was sarcasm right? You think a $250 cancellation fee and multiple year contracts aren't designed to prevent this?
or to turn it a bit, maybe being a vegetarian MAKES YOU DUMB.
