A reason why some hardware does not work on Linux is because the companies that make it do not generally support linux.
The Win32 version renders everything except the banner on top. And its very very very very very very very very very very very much faster than Netscape

Changing the BIOS to boot a CD can't be that hard. My Dad a lot of people in my family can do that and they're not engineers.
Most schools use win95 as clients and Novell Netware as servers.

Carmen San Diego was a very good game. Today's games are copies of Doom, WarCraft or Tomb Raider but with nicer graphics and some improvements in AI.
That would be awful, having to wait all that time to get bug fixes and new apps just because big companies cannot adapt to the changes?

Software doesn't have to be GPL'ed in order to be free.
And KDE IS free.
Their webpage says the distro is still in beta.
Maybe they just don't want rms deciding wether a piece of software is free or not.
