The statement "The Wiimote only knows which direction you're moving the controller" is not accurate, The Wiimote has a three axis accelerometer in addition to an infrared camera. The camera looks for two infrared LEDs on the "sensor bar" and depending on the distance between the LEDs and their position in the image from the camera the Wiiremote can fairly accurately determine where it is pointed on the screen.

Besides the Palm Mojo Application Framework, the SDK will include sample code, documentation, and development tools. An Eclipse-based IDE is included, and you will also be able to use your choice of tools to build WebOS applications. The Mojo SDK is currently in private prerelease, and will be available later this year as a free download from the Palm Developer Network.

I have no degree and had no professional programming experience before I started at my current job. I apparently showed enough skill on the programming test alone. That was eight years ago. Check out C&D Robotics and call before sending a resume.

Apparently not all RAZRs are created equal. I have had a V3M for a few months and it has been abused enough to get some deep gouges on the exterior. A recent fall revealed something interesting to me. The entire outer case of the phone is aluminum. A deep scratch on a black part of the phone revealed the metal underneath. Even the battery cover is metal. I was impressed enough to get a pink V3M for my wife. Sounds like the V3 may not be as sturdyily built.
