    a mouse and keyboard costs ~$11

    all told and we are still at less that $100.

    security cameras have extremely high resolution. I dont know why you think the opposite. - i say this from experience and am too lazy get a link. but the ones we use can read the text 'bic' on the pen in your pocket from a good distance (30-45 feet)

    you must not have kids. (and nor do i) but kids will watch the SAME movie EVERY night after they do all their homework and all the good kid stuff you are assuming the movies are replacing. it is still watching it ad nauseum (ours, not theirs, obviously)

    some of my most used computers have the smallest of screens if any at all: microwave, watch, desk phone, garage door opener, thermostat.... the list goes on

    but i agree - i like a physical keyboard on my devices: my phone of choice was the G2. but operating systems are becoming sophisticated enough that you can do a hell of a lot of data consumption with nothing more than the touchscreen and never feel like you are missing out on something.

    my tablet supplements my phone and pc
