    What sort of coal powered laptop doesn't support basic edge-scrolling? I've got a circa 10 y.o. Fujitsu-Siemens 1.4GHz Celeron M 0.5 GB RAM, and the synaptics driver even supports 2 finger scrolling like a champ, when enabled.

    How is the percentage of freely spoken English over there, among the population? Been thinking of moving over there, but I only speak decent (my native) Bulgarian aside from English, and language worries me somewhat.

    Ironically random linux distros probably have the best support in that sense - ancient fortran77 code runs alongside the latest RoR hotness without much issue. It's nice to have hoarders for repo maintainers. :)

    There is one trans fat - vaccenic acid found in both. Conjugated linoic acid is a metabolite, and trans, but the two double bonds are conjugated so it's a misnomer, functionally.

    Esters are where it's at - butyl butanoate passed military aviation standards for jet fuel and does pretty well in gasoline engines as well, and is drop in compatible - ethanol needs tweaks.

    Solid oxide fuel cells on CNG or other hydrocarbons are a good contender for a series hybrid power plant at a 40 kW power rating. Check out the latest Ce(IV) oxide doped ceramics with internal reforming, really cool. BEVs FTW, though.
