    You realize, of course, that images are going to be a small part of this...it'll mostly be text processing. Maybe image recognition will have some part, but it probably won't have much weight...it'll mostly be looking at the text content of the page.

    but they didn't know they were going to be putting things in the pockets, and having open pockets can be a bad thing (catching on things, etc.) Also, there's no way to be sure the pockets wouldn't already be full :P

    ah, I see it now. The way you said it was a bit ambiguous. I must be thinking of another project which steered and did brake/gas (there are a couple prototypes I've heard about). I think.

    Well, originally, I thought conio.h was cronio.h...I found out (through compiler error) that it wasn't, and said "hey, that's a cool name, cronio", searched for it on the internet and only found some foreign language sites, so I started using cronio as my online alias.

    This is off topic, but I thought I'd mention it...

    I worked with most of the Pax Imperia team this summer (they're no longer working on games...it's a startup that I'm not going to name so they don't get slashdotted...they only have a beta product atm...note I didn't say a .com startup). They're awesome guys. Unfortunately, I haven't actually played the game (they now think it sorta sucks, and don't play networked games of it anymore).

    Oh, and yes, Eminent Domain was released for Windows.

    Yes, I know about the Cuban missile crisis...and in that situation, Cuba DID get the nukes. Castro would LOVE to get his hands on some nukes right now as well I'm sure, because it would make Cuba a world superpower (and a direct threat to the US...meaning the US would probably bomb Cuba, creating all sorts of repercussions, because we're still under treaty not to).

    Nah, they were 2 cds with mpegs...they're 1 cd now with divx...sometimes half a cd.

    Ah, so what happens if [enemy] develops missile systems in orbit? or establishes missile launch sites in Central or South America? Or Cuba for that matter, which (if I remember correctly) would be able to get a missile over American soil before an anti-missile nuke could intercept it?

    Is that one of the reasons the system got canceled?
