SIgh.. may to leap to stupid conclusions. Seriously, the extreme logical fallacy? stop being stupid.
I am simply talking about easy access in common areas. Places where people have to go to live.
"we should always cater to the lowest common denominator and ban said activities?" I am not talking about a ban. Put it in casinos. Fine. But when someone has a problem where their brain chemistry compulses them to do something, where there really is no choice, out of grocery stores and the home is a reasonable compromise.
"See my point?" yeah, and ti has nothing to really do with what I am saying.
Spend some time studying neurology and we can get more into the nity gritty. Until them, shut up.
As for booze? yeah, it should be sold in liquor stores, not in grocery stores.
Restricting access from common public areas isn't telling someone how to live there life.
It has been shown that people with certain brain chemistry can not help themselves. IT's not a choice they are making. That's my point.
Having an incredible easy way to access these machines hurts everybody except the people who own them. "should be the freedom to screw up your life on your own terms" did you even read the whole post? understand it?
"Most meetings should involve two people. Sometimes three. Rarely more." I disagree. Meeting need the person calling it to be a moderator, anyone would be able to call it when it starts to loose track, and develop a culture that respect those 2 rules. Some thing s are really to complex or require too many disciplines for meeting that small.
"Any meeting that involves more than three people should be done standing up." Don't be an ass.
"Anyone should feel free to excuse themselves from a meeting when they feel their presence is no longer useful." Absolutely.
"Meetings should have a written agenda and a clear purpose" Absolutely.
"Meetings should have a clearly stated start time and a clearly stated end time. Never wait for late people." depends. Sometime people will have meeting back to back. The culture I am currently in is 5 minutes.
"Meetings should have a designated note taker, and any decisions should be documented and disseminated." Absolutely
"Most regularly scheduled "status" meetings are a waste of time" I disagree. Have you ever worked on a multi-million project that involves a dozen or so different groups and disciplines?
Sometime that are needed. Does this mean every week and everybody? not usually. And they should be quick. determine if the status are as expected. If there are problems that can't be solve sore explained in 30 seconds, set up a meeting with the people who know what you need.

Who do you think will be able to industrialize for commercial medical use the best? Pharmacy companies. Who already had volume of research on growing, using, and effects from marijuana? Pharmacy companies. The fact of the matter is that is't medical effects are minimal, so it's not like it will cure anything. It's best at quelling side effects.
And then there is the other big player: Who would make the most money? Tobacco companies. Since it would take them about 2 weeks to start producing pot ' cigarettes'.
Marijuana is illegal for the simple reason that some right wing religious nuts think it's 'bad'.
People like to think there is some sort of choice involved, but for a great many people it's an illusion of choice. If you have high dopemine levels, you're brain is more likely to come up with reasons, or a compulsion to gamble.
Which is important when you travel with it. Or digital is the only way you are getting music. Also, how well do the other device integrate with android phones?
For several reasons: 1) once radar is 'jammed' they know something is up and launch planes that have their own radar 2) They will quickly determine where the jamming is coming from, so you need aircraft entering before or at a different area. 3) Decoy 4) To evacuate the target area through another countries air space without alerting that country's general populace.
You also need to know how much money is where for many economic reasons.
Lets say you have a million but bucks, or what ever. How much of that is available for lending? what is consumer spending doing? Interest? Currency swaps?

For several reasons:
1) once radar is 'jammed' they know something is up and launch planes that have their own radar
2) They will quickly determine where the jamming is coming from, so you need aircraft entering before or at a different area.
3) Decoy
