    Wait, what? Liquor stores around me never had a problem selling to my mom when I was in line with her and actually 14. Mind you, I was not allowed to help her carry the stuff since I was underage, but being in line was just fine and dandy.

    So maybe the way to fix this is to set up some sort of rule, maybe like we have with regards to dumping? Maybe something like nobody shall sell below price plus 3%?

    It's certainly not unheard of. Gas stations are disallowed by law to sell gas for less than they bought it for. At least in Maryland that is.

    It always amuses me to hear prudes say that swearing somehow limits ones vocabulary. It's as if the fact that people who _don't_ swear have _less_ words in their vocabulary has been somehow lost on them. :)

    All this puts Wikipedia in the confusing position of not allowing a page for an undefined word whose meaning is defined via the Wikipedia page for that word

    When you put it that way, I fail to see what's so confusing about that. The No Original Research policy and/or [Citation Required] would seem to apply here. Of course, it won't be original research and un-cited for much longer I suspect (if it hasn't already passed that mark).

    Um, math fail? 60,000 is not 98% of 22,000,000. It's not even 2%. It's 0.2%.

    Personally, I find it funny that they say they are "swamped" with submissions, but still require more before a decision can be reached.

    Sure, to you and I it doesn't make sense. But to these companies, maybe it does. However, reading the rest of AC's post, it sounds like the government / insurance also thinks it doesn't make sense.

    When they claim their losses from theft, they claim the second loss (the one that's physically quantifiable).

    First, you gotta come up with what you want the acronym to be. For the act in question, PETLOVE would seem to be a good one.
