Not whoring for hits but on my bandsite you can see some of the pics I took with an old camphone Nokia 7250. I kinda like the trashy look of those cheapo optics...
Please be nice to me, as I am not a native speaker let me know if the lyrics have glaring errors in it.:)
Not sure about it in the US, but in Germany I get a new cellphone every year at least if you make ~150 a month for the provider. I can choose from about 80 models and I pay nothing for the latest model.
You might argue that I pay the phone via my monthly bill, but given the competition I don't think it's true anymore. Basically the phone is pretty much a giveaway for staying with the same provider.
Cams in mobiles are pretty handy btw. I use it to record information that I would otherwise forget, stuff like the settings of my distortion pedal for my guitar and the like.
I just started reading the book again, I think it must be the fifth time and it still sucks me in in no time. But seeing the picture with Gandalf singing while looking exactly like a Lotr-movie ripoff is too much.
Damn it, those Tolkien brohters were always rather strict on licensing, what made them change their mind this time? This looks awful and if someone would present me with a ticket for the show I'd cancel the friendship asap.
If the music is mediocre it will be forgotten soon, worst case would be if this would have a hit. Like the Bree scene or something. I would kill anybody humming it.
Actually, if I remembr correctly D. Fleischmann always said that his experiments where not carried out by the protocol. In one case they were, but the results were interpreted in a wrong way. I can only hope he's right. That would be awesome. Sorry, too tired to look for the actual source of my statement, but I am pretty confident that's what he said...
Great idea. And how exactly do I do this? If I try to uncheck the box in the options dialog my Oo.org build dies a flaming death. I bet it gives me the advertised performance boost but sadly I can't do this. FYI: I am using the dropline gnome build of OO.org on Linux.
You forgot to mention that the whole first part of the article goes on about what operating systems the author used at what point in time and what licenses he owns. Could it get any more boring?
I think Nokia adresses this issue with their new 2610 line.
;-/
It has everything but the kitchen sink and cam.
Sorry, I only found the german link, therefore this item might not be available in the US...

how could a final version be better than the dev? And NO, it doesn't look better.
"A finnish lumberjack, a British postman, a Czech IT manager and a German judge get on a plane..." Ah, you know the rest... :)
Or those T-shirts...
Heaven is:
Finnish lumberjack, a British postman, a Czech IT manager and a German judge
Hell is.
a british lumberjack, a czech postman, a german IT manager and a finnish judge...
Hm, it seems that lunchbreak is not really inspiring to me..
Not impressed until I see one made of mithril!
Please don't complain that /. is not women friendly. Not after yesterday. I am still suffering. :)
I've only used XP for the past year now (used Windows 2000 before) and only really used XP because it came on a new PC
;)
The funny thing is that he makes this very point but fails to see it.
Yoda, is this you?
Hype?
Yup, like the one with the Tomaccos! Actually this was one of the funnier while totally crazed episodes.
You must be new here, nobody actually read TFA. Therefore they just dropped the links altogether.
The only upgrade I would like to see would be if they made it actually return money. But well, that's just me...
Actually, it's my 20cents. Harhar!
Wow. You have time on your hands. Not that I don't appreciate it, but what made you do this? Was this a project of some kind?
Hm, no encrpytion whatsoever, not even for the password. Not even hash. But then again, you probably don't use hotmail for important stuff anyways.
And at least 4 protocols: IMAP (poorly), POP3, Exchange, and now their proprierty Hotmail protocol.
Your being unfair. Them invented it!

Notepad still can't cope with Unix or Mac line endings.
:)
You think this is unintentionally?

He didn't turn evil. He just turned greedy and stupid.
And yes, this happends to our kids rather quickly nowadays.
Oh, actually it works. It just takes forever to uncheck. Intersting. It seems to load a bit quicker now. No match to Excel/Word startup times, though.

hm. Where I come from the future seems to be always 5 years in the future. ;-/
