    Knowledge of Pro was why everyone waited until it came out and skipped RT. And to further complicate things it uses a wildly different CPU architecture (ARMs or tegras) than Pro tablets that use Intel, so traditional windows apps will *not* work. One of many colossally stupid decisions made by Ballmer during his illustrious tenure as CEO.

    Kissinger only negotiated after realizing the US would ultimately lose the war. Kissinger was the person that convinced Nixon the war could be won instead of a peace deal and withdrawal of troops as Nixon had promised during his campaign. Oddly enough at the end of the war, the deal agreed upon was essentially the same deal offered to the US years earlier, only Nixon and Kissinger had the hubris and lack of empathy to sacrifice thousands of Americans and nearly half a million innocent Vietnamese lives.

    So when it is all said and done, fucking Kissinger doesn't deserve a Nobel Peace prize either.

    I don't have a college degree and get $55/hr. I may not be Bill Gates, and a dumbass (I only speak 3 languages, can write code and build hardware), but I do OK. Oh, and I also don't have massive college debt to repay, because most people I've encountered that speak of how awesome of a degree they have are usually the most incompetent.
    Does that count for "showing them how it's done" ?

    Yeah, and that will never happen. The day that happens all developer tools become illegal, all file sharing becomes illegal, including FTP sites, and putting an app on a SD card becomes illegal. Ain't gonna fucking happen and your full of shit. And what type of app cannot be found on iTunes or the Android market. And barring that can't be installed on Windows, Mac OS X, or linux.

    BTW Cory Doctorow needs to STFU as well, he doesn't seem to have problems with making money of the non-free Kindle. He is always on his high-horse about censorship unless its at Boing Boing. And I for one have never heard any righteous condemnation of Federated Media and it's dodgy deals with small bloggers, because oh wait, he is making fuckloads of money from Boing Boing and the Federated Media partnership.
