    The article talks about "standing trial" in Sweden - where charges have not even been filed against him. "Extradition for inquiry" by a judge does not met a recognised standard for extradition, and the British justices tortured the statutes and precedent to accomplish their writ.

    The whole thing is a shadow-play, to get Sweden extraditing him to the US, where he will be "Braziled", a'la Sam Lowery.

    I'm one of the last active 3-digit UIDs. Been aboard since Windowmaker tips on Rob's "Chips N Dips". My Karma - always excellent is down to good.

    Look at this - 6 downmods on a +5 anti-Microsoft comment, on the eve of Win 8 launch.

    Kicker that proves the targeting? This comment is more than 2 weeks old.

    The comment is May 131, and mods are all June 15 - after the thread was archived and closed for responses.

    Someone is paranoid that we will sink Win 8. I hope this isn't internal to Slashdot, by an editor.

    FYI,
    They showed us a movie in Jr High, about this same thing. We were being warned of the immenent human-driven catastrophe that would subsume our civilization and imperil human existance.

    That was 1977.

    I suggest that if 1% of the planet's human inhabitants did not disproportionatley gobble and discard 90% of the wealth, resources and energy, that there'd be plenty to go around in a reasonably sustainable way - and quite comfortably.

    Watch out when you are propagandized like this. Once you accept that this is "Science" - they will present you the "solution". It will be a complete horror.

    Really these domains are useless. Someone in some registrar, somewhere, is going to make a killing, by selling something that decreases in value, with every additional TLD. The businees will quickly dry up, thereafter.

    I will be filtering them, confidently from lookups on my nets. Any of these "TLDs" will also have a regular .com or .org, anyway. They will be located through search, and noone will bother typing any of them - ever.

    At work, I get the choice of the Dell "Power User" Business Lattitude. - Or?

    A MacBookPro.

    I need to run ESXi virtualised on top of Workstation or Fusion. Dell killed me, trying to get this to work - 4 cores and all...

    So Apple's limited choice in models, and non-responsiveness to IT requests for support features plays to the interest of the user.
