Commerce - the basest of casual human interactions - becomes the lowest common-denominator for human activity and interaction.

In a commercial relationship, for anything to be valued, it must not then just be assigned monetary equivalence. Indeed, that token monetary assignment becomes the most significant evaluation of a thing, to the exclusion and actual detriment of its other possibilities, qualities and merits.

This is what is meant by the expression "degradation of the marketplace."

Still is. False dichotomy? CNN vs. Fox.

They both support a corporate kleptocratic power, which masquerades behind statist rhetoric, to subvert both the functional sovereignty of government and the republican enfranchisement of the people.

The "divide and conquer" tactic of using false right/left pseudo-ideology pits the population against itself, and diverts its energy into fighting non-issues, with no hope of affecting meaningful outcomes.

Every year, more people die from accidents with unattended swimming pools, then would be possible if you downed 10% of every American airliner that took off in the same time period.

But you don't advocate severe response to that immanent peril, do you? Even tho' the "terrorists" are convenient phantoms - demonstrably non-existent, through any valid statistical examination of incident data
