May I point out that there are even places on earth where no (surface) life excists. "Mars like desert on Earth" I think it could be possible not likely that there is life on mars it's open for debate, heck they're still figuring out if the methane on Mars is biological or geological. "Methane on Mars"
This means we dont know if something that comes out of space could be ours? I mean at that distance? How much stuff have we launched that went there and could come back??
Still in this arms race technology is the only solution we need bomb sniffing, full body scan equipment. Better having a moron responding to a red blinking light then a someone intelligent searching bags.
Offer flight as a bus service under one condition: In case of a terrorist attack an ICBM will fly to his religious point of most interest (Earthly!). As the terrorist will be responsible for the downfall of his own religion he could get second thoughts ( as for the atheist terrorists if there are any. Dawkins will get fed to the pigs).
If you would put the outcomes in a graph would a pattern arise? If there is a predictable pattern perhaps computation could go a lot faster, but then I guess they would have figured that out by now. ( Or maybe I should call him?:P )
Actually this could make NASA more popular or interesting because if they debunk this 2012 crap like a dad explains his boy, woman aren't flesh eating medusas people might feel some more respect?
