So with my admittedly meager research (reading Slashdot and other sites), I can't figure out if the Wikileaks people are good guys or bad guys. Which is it?
She's Indian : if presented with a "spicy vindaloo", her first comment is likely to be "what is this repulsive slop?", followed shortly by howls of alternating hilarity and incredulity as you explain to her that you think this is "Indian" food.
I wonder what getting vitamins and nutrients force fed to me via nasal drip is like. Probably not a whole lot of fun.
I also wonder how her stomach would handle solid food after ten years of being empty. I can't imagine that a spicy vindaloo would sit too well with her right now.
So we found this planet by measuring gravitational changes on light. If the planet were in fact cloaked, then wouldn't that be akin to just turning off the gravity for the whole planet? How could they keep everything from floating away? I guess this fancy pants alien technology is just too advanced for me to understand.
Actually, I see it as a way to stop people from using pirated Windows. Oh, you can't pass the Windows Genuine Advantage (or whatever it is called these days), so you can't properly update your machine. Since your machine isn't updated, that means no internet for you. That would be a big disincentive to pirates everywhere.
Actually the original name was "The World" Series which was the name of the newspaper that sponsored it. It's similar to how NASCAR had the Winston Cup and the Busch Cup. The difference is that NASCAR renamed their trophies when the sponsor changed, whereas "The World" Series never got changed..... and now if causes confusion because few remember that it was named after a paper.
Here is a brief excerpt from the Wikipedia article: The series were promoted and referred to as the "The Championship of the United States", "World's Championship Series", or "World's Series" for short.
This could be balanced if we did one of two things: Treat the European Union as 1 slot the same way we treat the American Union as 1 slot. -or- 25 slots for the EU states and 50 slots for the US states.
Except for the fact that the 'American Union' is actually one country, and the European Union is not. Should we start splitting up the EU member nations by state/province too? Or perhaps you just made this comment because the US is a large nation. Hey, even though Canada doesn't qualify, we need to split them up, too. Russia, too big, let's start treating them as separate smaller states. China and India too. Hey, this is fun!
Lineage 2 is rated 19+ in Korea, meaning that you have to be 19 years old to play it. Since this is a blackout list to protect youths, naturally Lineage 2 wouldn't be included.
Not quite. It's probably a dead end for missions than grant experience but can still be a great part of the content. Provide some sort of ranking/point system and even add in cosmetic or other minor rewards and it will still have value.
MMOs are mostly about the sense of achievement but there's still room for a little fun in them:)
I think that it is still possible to have user created missions that offer experience. The game devs just need to make sure that only missions which are balanced with the other gameplay can be created.
In my opinion, the game devs dropped the ball and released a buggy product here. This isn't proof that user created content is bad, it is proof that lazy game devs are bad.
Oh, Im not saying to disallow user generated content. I am saying that balance is an important part of any multiplayer game. The devs should have made sure the content that can be created is balanced and fair in comparison with the other aspects of the game.
- it takes me 25 minutes to reach work in the car.
- it would take 1:30 to get there via public transportation.
I have the opposite situation in my city. Using the subway takes me roughly ten minutes to go to work, but if I were to drive, I would be sitting in traffic for an hour.
Also, the trip to and from work costs me about 1,320 won (roughly a buck?), so the public transportation is much cheaper and more efficient for me.

Are you a troll or just ignorant? Let's see what Wikipedia says about vindaloo.
... Vindaloo is a popular dish in many parts of India.
Vindaloo or vindalu (Konkani) is a dish originally from Goa, India.
Since this also fits with my personal experience, I believe I can safely say you have no idea what you are talking about.
I wonder what getting vitamins and nutrients force fed to me via nasal drip is like. Probably not a whole lot of fun.

On your knees, you heathen!
Well it looks like the US isn't the only country who has these types of people. Famous last words, "Hey guys, watch this!"
Unfortunately I am becoming so jaded to this type of thing, I can't quite figure out if this is funny or sad.
So we should name it Schrodinger's Galaxy?
I'm a Gibbon, you insensitive clod! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gibbon
Gibbons don't have tails, you...oh nevermind.
Apes never have tails, you insensitive clod!
Well, Smythe, it looks like I win the Slashdot siesta championship this time!
No, sir, you may not have another pencil until you bring us the stub of your previous one!

So I guess I could just throw some sort of cutting blades under my pinto and set the record then. (Assuming a pinto can go 96 mph)
Does it have a six pack cooler on it?

Oh Paul Ceglia, is that you?

Except for the fact that you completely made that up.

Why not wait and release the product without these gaping loopholes for players to abuse?
Or, even better, you can search for 'SAT score' and get back the distribution information. However, if you search for 'sat score' you get nothing.
Ugh, make that 'SAT scores' and 'sat scores', respectively. If you search for 'sat score', you get back information about a satellite.
