How does it work for the private school situation? At work, you work for your boss and your boss pays you. At a private school, the teachers and administration work for the parents (by teaching the students) and the parents pay them.
The result of which would be a lessening of respect for the teachers and principals. ..
Are you suggesting that any respected authority should punish any deed that led to decrease in respect? If not, why for the case of teachers?
If you posted a "parody" like this of your boss, on your own time and using your own resources, you'd still be fired. And with cause. It's no different just because these kids are in school.
There is a significant difference between the school situation and the work situation. At work, you work for your boss. At school, the teachers and administration work for the students.
The police told the suspect that he had the right to remain silent. The suspect talked anyway. SCOTUS deemed the suspects statements admissible in court.
I suspect it is a guy looking for investor capital.
1. Show solution in search of a problem. 2. Get investor capital. 3. Buy new car and house. 4. Hookers and blow 5. ??? 6. Investors have shares of bankrupt company. 7. Keep car and house. (Profit!!!)
If a stupid law is proposed that would harass, inconvenience, and violate the privacy and liberty of law-abiding citizens without doing anything towards fixing any problem, real or imagined, you can safely bet that Chuck Schumer is involved.
Why? Because bills like this get attention.

One of the constraints when developing codecs is the processor power required to do the encoding and decoding. If processor power goes up (and it will), you can compress more at the expense of requiring additional processor power.

If you make that accusation, the principal can sue you for slander.
We are talking about constitutionally protected parody, not defamation.
I never mentioned free speech. I clearly stated that if it happens at school, the school should be able to discipline.

If something happens on school grounds or using school equipment, the school can discipline.
If something happens off school grounds and not using school equipment that is damaging or may be illegal, involve the criminal justice system or sue.
Why is this so hard?
side note: Homeschooling parents are looking pretty smart, aren't they?
And like your comment, Atlas Shrugged offered no solution to the problem whatsoever.
The police told the suspect that he had the right to remain silent. The suspect talked anyway. SCOTUS deemed the suspects statements admissible in court.
What exactly is the problem?
If you think baseball teaches that rules are enforced uniformly and fairly, you have not been following baseball.

So, it is competing with the iPad?
Because the companies pushing these contracts have lots of lawyers and lobbyists, and you do not.
Bertrand Competition assumes no colluding or price fixing, intelligent consumers, no lock-in, and no long term contracts.
The connection providers will play games with consumers forever.
Many programmers write business applications that deal with other business applications, many of which only work with Administrator access.
The problem is not Windows, but the lousy applications written for it that have no hope of being ported or fixed.
Which one of them only half understands?

I did not notice until reading your comment, but I correctly guessed the answer immediately. kdawson posted it.
I bet you think people who bought bellbottoms and hammer pants bought them because they worked well for them.
A reason that copyright extends past death is to discourage murder to get access to copyrighted material.
You think the government knows what the hell they are doing?
Does it have something to do with enabling the microorganisms in the ocean that are capable of consuming hydrocarbons to consume them?

So, what are you going to do about it? Nothing? Yeah, the government figured that out. The constitution is irrelevant.
You know what to do, guys. Call into the anonymous tipline and accuse all of your Congressmen of burglary.

I do not think length matters. Take David McCord's poem "Epitaph on a Waiter". The poem is shorter than its title.
