The thought of icons comes to mind, minimizing tabs to icons with preview by pressing 'Ctrl+Tab' or something similar.
Something akin to the browser being your desktop, with each icon being a tab (tab equivalent).
This seems a little far-fetched considering the vagueness of someone liking a photo that another person doesn't. I can't imagine this on something like flickr.
I guess this could be some standalone rating that people could use on stock photography sites, where buying something needs to have commercial appeal. Websites such as alamy.com tend to do these things manually, they probably might find some use for this.
Yes I am. Who knows, once they have collected enough information about users, they may pass it on under pressure or otherwise. I mean 15MBps upload? Who REALLY needs it? Maybe some university professors/students (who have such high speeds available on campus anyway), or someone running their own servers or a minuscule number of application that really demand such high upload rates. Apart from that?
Its just a thought anyway, I read somewhere in the comments that the company's past ain't a clean slate.
Well, with the kind of weapons tech being developed (electric eye with lasers?), it shouldn't be a big deal burning down these debris. The problem would be allowing (or acknowledging that *anyone* has) that kinda weaponry up there.
Apart from the obvious heroism, there's that business angle, where everyone who wants to use p2p will want to shift to this ISP.
Instant customer base boost.
It would be highly ironic if this rule is introduced now. Driving the cost of online purchases up would have reduced the cost difference between buying online and brick-n-mortar, which MAY have saved the likes of Circuit City and BestBuy from going bellyup, if this rule was introduced earlier. Either way, the government wants our money.
I'm an Indian from the very heart of the Shiv Sena's hometown Thane (near Mumbai) in the state of Maharashtra.
There is no such thing as democracy in India. Shiv Sena will do pretty much anything they please and get away with it. And anything here includes, beating up, killing, looting, molesting, terrorising and more.
I hate this part of India.
If the board approves, the employee must receive some instant bonus, and a percentage of whatever profits may be obtained from implementation of the idea or development of the idea.
Easy to say, but this will be very tough to implement. But for real innovation, there really has to be something worthwhile for the employee to be gained.
Like Google has their pool of new ideas which they fund and the time spent on it is included in each employee's paycheck.
But Google Earth is free and not ad supported. How does not using Google Earth punish them?
Well, its not money that they're getting out of G Earth. They're probably penetrating the masses to build a solid platform to sell stuff in the future on, geo-related services etc.
And the more the users use it, more the information gets added to their database.
Its actually a pretty scary thought.
Can someone explain to me if Nescafe Taster's choice (in its three different brews - mild, normal, dark) is as strong as the European stuff?
Cos I love that stuff.
500 readers? Too bad she isn't around to see her blog slashdotted.
Only 53 of the 92 naturally occurring elements have super-conductivity, not all 92.

Is this official? Does this mean I can sue my University for torture!

follow the path of least resistance.

But not everyone pays the same amount of tax. The average joe gets the same benefits after paying a smaller tax than someone making more money. http://www.guardian.co.uk/money/2008/nov/16/sweden-tax-burden-welfare

If you Google for "Encyclopedia" Wikipedia comes above Britannica. If you Google for "Encyclopaedia", Britannica comes above Wikipedia.
Great, now the launchpad page has been slashdotted.
Communism just got personal.

I wasn't able to make the download when I selected Vista (which I have on dual boot) probably because I'm on ubuntu right now. What a joke.
