I am video taped doing most of my job. I don't have a problem with this. And even if I did, I don't hold the civil rights of individuals in my hands at threat of gun point as part of my job. If I just want to be a dick to someone they can say "Screw you." and walk off. You can't do that to a police officer.
You mean you couldn't follow orders and heard the rebels back to their ship as part of the plan? As a quote from the movie Tarkin, "This better work, Lord Vader, I'm taking an awful risk." It did work, they tracked the ship to the rebel base. If not for the luck of blowing up the deathstar that would have been the end of major support for the rebellion.
Instead go back and watch again. Both the opening scene and the sandcrawler scene. Blast open the ship door way and begin blasting rebel fleet troopers, or the quote from Ben, "Only Imperial Stormtroopers are so precise."
Stormtroopers can shoot. They hit when they are suppose to. They miss when they are suppose to.
funny thing, back in the 80s it was murderers and burglars. Instead of the RIAA it was the DEA. you think in 25 years people will be bitching about the complete real loss of free speech and saying that cops should be busting music pirates and burglars? Ohh wait guess they wouldn't be able to bitch.
Keep voting for Republicans and Democrats and the government will keep getting bigger. Your rights will continue to whittle away.
You're trying to review the idea as an intelligent and logical person. Drink a six pack of Budwiser then reread my post. It may make more sense:) I didn't mean that the software was hurt by the process just the marketing. Marketing is usually done to the mindless masses to grab as much money as possible.
This seems to be a fairly large downfall in open source marketing. There really is no way to come out with a new software package and say "Surprise!! This is the best thing sense sliced bread!"
If linux had similar plans for ZFS then it would be supported, improved upon, discussed the pros and cons of using it in open forum and eventual it'd just show up. No press release. No Touting of new features. It'd just work.
In this way even a major update in opensource software is usually passed as, "Ohh, that's been working since the 0.09alpha3 patch 6 months ago. I thought this was news for nerd."
wheels are great on smooth terrain, but legs are the only thing that will alow you to travel through really ruff and rocky areas. Also stairs are a lot easier with legs rather than wheels.
Also how will we build are mech warriors without this type of tech?
Two weeks ago I got to see Rocket Man in action and up close. Other than the fuel supply issues it has made me want one just that much more. He only did a short flight of about 15-20 seconds but the coolest part is he was dressed like Boba Fett!!!!
I think that it means more along the lines of Pre PS2 XP would be infected automatically upon connection to the internet. Linux, even older versions require manual intervention form a hacker and not just a random bot somewhere.
"Remind me, who wins elections? Oh yes, that's right, a government full of incompetent hypocrites that had a record of lying habitually. I think the evidence speaks for itself."
I'd say it comes down to if you don't use them you don't pay for them. 1st most of the money comes from road tax on gas. The rest comes from other taxes. If you buy a product you are using roads to get that product.
So unless you live in the middle of nowhere completely off the land with no outside help. You directly use roads.
I enjoy playing WoW, but I can't say that it is the end-all for MMOs. In fact, as far as a game goes it is kinda lame. It is popular because it has achieved almost a pure lowest common denominator effect.
Either/or works for me. I don't have a system I can run windows on full time. I wont bother to dual boot just to play a game. I can almost understand them not supporting Linux, but why not support OSX?
I'm sure there are plenty of ridged poles around. Just very few of them are used.

Microsoft: What? We said we support it. As in, "We think it is a great technology. Go Intel."
Because it happened and someone reported it. That's how news works.

"Z" is a way better letter than even both "N" and "T" put together.

There is going to be a forklift version that can be used to fight aliens.

Good, have them blackhats go for it. The Linux developer base will fix it and be better for it.

Yea, but Linux is just a kernel.
wow, I didn't know that more than half of Apples Macs ship with an M$ operating system.
you learn something new everyday.
That's what I hate about wikipedia, too.
That is interconnected. Roads are a basis infrastructure required for all other things to function.
"Such a thing is unfortunately impossible. In 1982"
25 years has turned may other things from impossible to possible.

Prisms would be perfect. A rainbow and extensive use of gallium.
Now we know what's on the gay agenda for today.
