The plans, drive and quality of those CxOs that are getting large amounts of compensation is why your pay is staying flat rather than you getting laid off.
Just because you're a poor lonely nerd in your mothers basement doesn't mean you need to take it out on text messaging. Go out and get some friends and you may actually have the chance to communicate more.
"...nd the people who have the power to vote politicians out."
If this were actually the case I would agree. The current barrier to entry for becoming a politician has always been so far beyond anything a sane person would want to do that we end up with little more than poorer alternatives to poor incumbents. The only way I can think to curve this slightly is that incumbents should be required to put them self up for general election just to be allowed to compete for reelection. Other wise you get the highly advantaged incumbent and the only person dumb enough to waste time running against them.
I've been wanting a base amplifier that fits in a car stereo slot and has a doc on the front that I can plug my phone into and then use the phone as the OS and data source while the back end is just a dumb amplifier.
You've been feed the anti-Capitalism Kool-aid i think a little more. Capitalism is the implementation of the idea that all iterations with people should be voluntary. You are not forced to make exchanges that you don't want. Opposed to it's opposite Socialism where you are forced to make exchanges no matter your desire.
In every exchange in a free market, both participants come out ahead. If you buy a TV for $100 it is because you wanted a TV more than you wanted $100. If you sell a TV for $100 it is because you valued $100 more than the TV. Money is no more or less important in a Capitalist society than TVs, DVD Players, houses, Cars or food. In most cases it is less important as it's not very entertaining, makes a lousy building material, can't transport you anywhere and can't be eaten.
The only people doing CPU upgrades are the big boys that are still stuck with IBM Mainframes. And that is only because the CPUs are already sitting on the DC floor and all they need to do is license them to activate them. Nobody upgrades a CPU from one minor model difference to another. It's just not worth the effort. Buy a completely new system 3 gens newer and get rid of 5 old ones by using VMs.
Ok, you go out and make 1 million dollars and we'll time how long it takes. Then we'll give it to someone who's poor and time how long they can maintain it. If they can maintain it longer than it took you to make it then we'll know that maintaining wealth ease much easier than making it.
I know many people think inheritance then set you for life, but often it is more difficult to maintain wealth then it is to obtain it. Without a large amount of effort then even moderately large fortunes will disappear within a few years, if the benefactors don't have a vigilant know how to maintain that wealth.
not really. Anarchists want no government, libertarians just want enough government to protect the individual. Capitalists want enough government to protect the producers, socialists want enough government to provide for everyone, fascists and communists want enough government to insure nobody can be better than anyone else no batter their ability.
This is the huge distinction between Libertarianism and Anarchy that people often try to blur. Few if any Libertarians will say no to any government, and they will recognize that a certain amount is a good thing. I myself have always lived by the motto: "Just enough government, and no more." Of course the argument then comes down to how much is just enough.
Did you want a list? The governments of: Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, The Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.
The problem is that Nothing is the end goal.

Ahh, someone who still believes in the "of the people, for the people, by the people" BS. How quaint.

I'm mostly with you on AotC, aside from the giant tic love scene and a few scenes with horrid directing/bad acting i really liked it.

Nike gives Olympian shoes to run.
It's not great but i was smart enough to parse it fairly easy.

Bad.
"Seems to me to be a random collection of half truths woven together in a tapestry of agenda laden hype"
Doesn't fit your dogma then?
May not fit mine either, i haven't watched it yet.
true, one presents the ones that work one that presents the ones that didn't work.
We have an entire major political party based solely on this concept.
as long as we can add castration and banishment to the terms of all bankruptcies then I can agree with you 100%

And if you want to get better gas mileage, put less fuel in your car you gas guzzling bastard!!
Ever been to Phoenix? There was no water in the soil in 2008...or ever.
