There is no "value" in that system to begin with. That's like saying there's value in a Vegas slot machine. Sure you can walk away with more money that you started with, but you didn't actually create anything. You are merely wallet voting for the people you feel may be able to create value.
Equating extortion, scams, threats, force and theft to the meritocracy of capitalism is a truth of some kind? I think you've been drinking a bit too much of the anti-capitalism kool-aid.
I am a mostly conservative libertarian atheist. Yet I see way too much of a message from the democrats that seem, along the car analogy theme, that if your mechanic is a devout christian then all he's going to do is prey for your car to run. It's just not likely to be true. He's going to fix your car as it should be fixed. (forgoing other things that mechanics will do to get billable work and money rather than actually fix cars)
Smaller difference than you may think. I am very libertarian when it comes to federal government, less and less so as government gets closer to me down to being 100% for a benevolent dual-dictatorship within my own house over my family.
Reagan raised taxes 11 times during his presidency.
And yet they were still lower than when he took office. this is the stupidest quote I've ever heard trying to say he was against big government. He lowered taxes farther than he should then slowly raised them to help find the sweet spot, which is how it should be done.
I vote for every libertarian on the ballot no matter the views or qualifications. Due to the fact, they are not going to get elected anyway, but if another candidate sees that they lost because of a libertarian it 'may' get them to rethink their position and move slightly away from the totalitarian principals that the two current dominant parties have.
greed is a horrible and awful emotion. Capitalism is just the most efficient way to harness it for the betterment of all. It at least pits greed vs greed. All other systems just allow greed to take over and eventually rule in force.
all require a certain amount of memorization. One requires the multiplication tables, the second is just knowing how to multiply 8 x 8 using addition, the last just shows you can count to 64 by counting to 8 eight times.
Correct, it's differently worded in every state, but in mine it states, you may not enter an intersection if the light is red or it is unsafe to do so. Says nothing about being in the intersection or exiting it during any color. Says nothing about being illegal to enter when yellow or green. Any red light cameras is not suppose to flash until.0? (something) after the light has turned red.
How about, instead of a car you buy a comfort wagon that is little more than a trailer that contains your normal travel arrangement as you prefer them. Then when you call for it to be towed you order the size tow vehicle you need and pay accordingly.
these could also be rented or leased for long distance rides such as RVs are today.
it was one of those devices that the tech involved was much cooler than the application. Other things that came out of this were much better, like the wheel chair that can raise it's occupant to eye level with standing adults and even climb stairs.
They figure with $30-40 million in government grants they may be able to double that.

There's so many lawyers out there giving a bad name to the other 3.

because it's not a choice, it's an observation of what exists.

just put a winch on it and drop a hook down to earth.
I'd really like a back story on why you say this.
It was on the Daily Show, it must be true.
You realize that's a comedy show right? You're not suppose to take it serious.
that's due the the assault on capitalism.
Yep, an ounce of prevention or treatment is worth a pound of cure. When stretched out over the lifetime of a patient.

They uploaded to MU for a backup and just lost their hard drives and would like to recover from that backup.
No, it's hist "role." He just plays one on TV.
some memorization is important. What's easier to remember?

More like 99% don't understand economics. Or maybe it's just you.

Of course if Henry Ford was doing that he'd have been just trying to make the horse go faster.
I can see the future argument about the new Han and Greedo encounter where they put their differences aside and make up, being, "Han hugged first!!"
