A big media manufactured event brought on by the sins of the people it will destroy. having the news channels as an arm of the liberal left has found a new religion for them to follow. Do what the uppers say or big spooky sky man (AGW) is going to come and kill you all.

    depends.
    1) replacing 20 year old roof at $3000 every 20 years =~ $15,000 every 100 years.
    2) replacing every 30 years $3000 + $1500 in additional damage =~ $13,500 every 100 years.
    3) replace every 50 years and patch as needed $3000 +$3000 in patching over the years =~ $12,000 every 100 years.

    You're starting to figure it out. The schools are using their main weapon against parents to get them to vote for higher taxes. This is pure evil as very likely any cursory look at their budget could most likely find the $50k in unneeded expenses much easier than this.

    This is the evilest of politics using children as a weapon to get more money.

    Exactly, a PC is stuck at home in an office, a phone is too small, a laptop is too cumbersome to share. All these end up being very intervened geek items.

    The tablet on the other hand is able to socialize the internet in face to face situations.

    I'm a self-professed libertarian, and anti-corporation. I think many things like LLC and zero liability investing should be done away with. If you invest your money directly in a company you should be liable for your share of that companies dealings including jail time if the company is doing something illegal. This would promote many more personal audits of companies looking for investment funds. If you want a buffer then invest in a broker of whom can do the research for you and can take responsibility as needed.

    And why the hell would everyone just give $10 to one person? That doesn't make any since at all. Sure they could, but I would expect most people to want something also in return that they would value at more than $10. Who is ripping off whom? Ohh yea, it's a free market. It's not a fixed size pie that everyone takes a slice of.
