We have to worry about prevention. Make sure that all the scientists working on the project have a healthy dose of salt-peter to curb all those urges .
Oh, BTW, to all the parents out there... Your 8 year old probably says 'fuck' all the time when he knows you're not around, so you can get over yourself already.
Bwahahahahaha. This person speaks the truth. When I was 6 I found that magical word, and haven't stopped using it yet.
I'm assuming that you're in a country that has some type of free speech protection for its citizens.
You can't be sure that you'll get taken away for speaking out. You've been reading too many dystopian stories. And even if it were the case that people are incarcerated for speaking out, the more people you get to do it, the more it clogs up the machine trying to make you vanish. Saftey in numbers!
Thing is, with that kind of attitude, it doesn't matter what the government can or will do. You've already self-censored yourself. So you're doing "their job" for them.
He turned on the tensor beside the Hosaka. The crisp circle of light fell directly on the Flatline's construct. He slotted some ice, connected the construct, and jacked in. It was exactly the sensation of someone reading over his shoulder.
He coughed. "Dix? McCoy? That you man?" His throat was tight.
"Hey, bro," said a directionless voice.
"It's Case, man. Remember?"
"Miami, joeboy, quick study."
"What's the last thing you remember before I spoke to you, Dix?"
"Nothin'."
"Hang on." He disconnected the construct. The presence was gone. He reconnected it. "Dix? Who am I?"
"You got me hung, Jack. Who the fuck are you?"
"Ca--your buddy. Partner. What's happening, man?"
"Good question."
"Remember being here, a second ago?"
"No."
The problem is, software patents fall under the "buisness process" paents. This type of patent has only been around for about 20 years or so. Now, in the search for prior art, Standard Operating Procedure is just looking at older patents and seeing if any of them conflict. They don't really do an outward search on the technology. The bigger problem comes with the fact that very few patents have been filed in this field, so the pool of "prior art" is very shallow.
And just to let you know, this is the truth. I had to do a research paper on it, so I'm very familiar with the workings / problems.
Well, considering that that passage came from John, I don't tend to give it as much merit.
"John" was the last gospel to be written, and the author was referred to as the "Beloved Disciple." It's no wonder there are passages like this that say Jesus is the only way. The author has a more vested interest in pushing belief in the religion than someone like Mark, who has the least "spiritual" explinations for the teachings and presents them so people without a lot of faith can learn from them.
If all 8 players make it to the last card, a community card is delt, instead of consealed river cards.
If all 8 players make it to the last card, at least 3 of them are morons 98% of the time.

I'm sure this has been said hundreds of times before on slashdot, but here I go anyway.
Yes, a joint might be as bad for you as 3 cigs, or even upwards of 6 or 8. But how many times have you seen someone chain smoke a pack of joints?
Quantity of deathsticks over "quality" of deathsticks in this case.

(in an upbeat voice)
well, lets agree that we both are horrible!
yeah, I know, it was a sad attempt at humor.
I just wrote a research paper suggesting opposition requests for patent reforms.
Too bad I didn't get a patent on the idea.
