    Since apparently the eventual plan was to drop bombs as part of the invasion of operations Olympic and Coronet to soften up the Japanese. It was my understanding one of the reasons to use them for real was to figure out how far in front of the invasion to drop them so they didn't take out the troops. Oh, and they had one more ready for the end of August and then the US was REALLY going to ramp up productions. (Something like 20-30 nukes by the end of 45.)

    It's 399 if you already have the required camera and move controllers.(Which a lot of people don't have.) There is a package deal with those included for 499.

  6. That I'm guessing that he didn't re-open relations with Cuba because it was the right thing to do and he actually did it as a favor to Google for lending him all the people that ran the IT portion of his campaign. (Since they apparently want to expand their business into Cuba.)

    I guess I should correct myself. According to that link 79 people were killed in the 20 years before Port Arthur in Massacres in Australian. In the 20 years since 74 people were killed which is about 93% of 79.(So it's an improvement, just not much of one.)

    Just saying since the only way to really fix the issue I had with no start menu (or any universal apps, yes I should count my blessings) was to either create a new account or reinstall windows. (I reinstalled it. No sfc and dism didn't fix it.)

    That must have been what I was thinking of. I thought this is what happened with aspirin.(Which was a Bayer trademark but they lost because they didn't defend it vigorously enough.)

    I'm no lawyer but I was under the impression that if you let one party get away with infringing your copyright you've tacitly agreed to let others do as well. (Which pretty much means you have to be an asshole about copyright all the time if you want it to be valid.)

    Tried that as well but I get loads of errors even if I run powershell as an admin. I did see some info that said it was permissions with the registry issue that caused those errors but when I checked regedit all the permissions for "all application packages" were set for read where it needed to be.

    You're right about that. I've checked the other accounts on that machine and those ones work correctly. I've been tempted to do what you've described but I'm worried MS still has that nonsense that the first account you create on a Windows system is "special" and effectively a super-admin. (I'm not sure if they've straightened it out with Win10 that there is no such thing as the first time is special.)

    and his fan boys. Boyd of OODA loop fame was posited as a fighter expert like small quick simple planes as fighters for dogfighting which has influenced fighter design for awhile. Here's something I have in common with him though, neither one of us has ever shot down another plane in combat even once.(I love mentioning that.) Anyway the problem with all of this is they forget one of the first fighter experts, Oswald Boelcke, of Dicta Boelcke who actually managed to shoot down other planes and influenced the Red Baron. (Both got killed in WWI so have to mention that.) His opinion was pretty much dogfighting was for suckers and the best thing was to shoot down the other bastard before he knew what the hell hit him, either from above, the back, from the sun, or all of the above. Or as I like to say it "Shoot him in the fucking back!"

    Is that it broke BEFORE I installed classic shell and I installed classic shell BECAUSE the start menu and other items were broken by an update.

    I guess maybe it's my fault for loading up horseshit like steam on an otherwise clean install of Win 10

    On Windows 10 because one of their updates broke the start menu and all universal apps like edge and calculator. (No, sfc /scannow didn't fix it and DISM didn't either.) I'm just glad my main partition is Win 8.1 (with classic shell) because at least that one works. (I was thinking of a reinstall of my win10 partition but I guess I'll wait until Windows 10 gets out of alpha.)

    Since beyond all the other problems people have had with it I've hit a bug where Edge doesn't work at all. (I know I know, I should consider it an improvement.)

    Actually I have the latest build when this happened. Tried sfc /scannow and it failed. Actually tried the things listed here http://home.bt.com/tech-gadget... and tried to reinstall apps as well which didn't work. They're right that if you create a new account it comes back.(Or install classic shell.) Oh to make matters worse I actually did a clean install of Windows 10. (I upgraded my system to register it with Microsoft and then wiped the disk and did an install.) Before anybody asks I have an Asrock Z77 extreme6 motherboard and a i5 3570 cpu with a 970GTX so pretty standard parts too. (As I've mentioned I've worked around it by installing classic shell which reminds me. I really should give that guy a donation for it.)

    There is literally a well known bug in Windows 10 that causes the start button to not work. (Google "windows 10 start button not working") I've been hit by the bug and at this point the only work around I could get was installing classic shell. Maybe it's me but a bug like this is so basic it should have gotten taken care during the alpha phase.(Since apparently it's existed since then.) It's hard for me to not complain since at a fundamental level the OS is so broken.

    I'm still waiting for Windows 10 to come out of alpha testing.(Seriously it has a bug that causes the start button to not work. When this happens store apps and edge might not work either. The solution is to either create a new account or possibly reinstall windows. How the hell did that one get missed?)

    I mean I'm dual booting it with Win 8.1 (with classic shell) but Win10 has issue for me. Most notably how often it ignores when I click on the windows icon and the UI kind of locks up. (Mouse still works but I have to wait a minute before whatever it's doing finishes then the UI starts updating.) Actually the latest was I was logged into one account, switched to a Microsoft account and then it wouldn't let me log out to go back to the first one. (Those spinning balls kept going for 10 minutes, I just reset the whole system.) Anyway I guess maybe in another 6 months it'll be ready for prime time.
