    You're correct, I watch this happen to my friend on his Torch all the time. I've seen it happen a lot in an app named "Browser", and also in one called "Organizer". Guess he should uninstall those apps.

    That's just a silly argument. The comparison would be, do you expect them to pay for your roads, and of course, the answer is they already have.

    I don't care if the numbers are real or not. It costs between $1,000,000-$9,000,000 per lane mile of highway out to those rural homes. If we're talking 2-4 homes/mile, the road costs many more times than the cost of the homes too. And $350K to give them broadband is pretty cheap by comparison. Broadband deployment should be viewed as a similar infrastructure to homes, power lines, etc.

    It's not that cut and dry. Placental integrity may be affected by the age of the uterus, which could lead to problems during gestation. Then again, hormones in the daughter's body may change the condition of the tissue the uterus is composed of.

    Not so sure about that. If they didn't already have protective clauses against negligence built-in to their partnership agreement, they might be able to wrest the shares away from him with the threat of litigation for his negligence.

    I agree. And one of the places I worked where we kicked the most ass, they ordered lunch every day. We would usually eat in about 20 minutes, chat for 10-15 and get back to work. Occasionally, the odd one of us would nod off for a nap for a half hour.

    I've been putting in 10+ for over 25 years now. In my day, we never even conceived of less than 10 as reasonable. And that didn't include a one hour lunch, which was the ONLY time we would fuck off maybe playing some ping pong. Take a look at Apple. Most of their guys are doing 90 hrs / week. And it shows in the refinement of their products.

    You're right about the content owners. However, Netflix does have a linux client. It runs on TiVo.
