    Remember in the Stratfor hack some of the documents detailed a consortium of people planning chemical attacks in such a way as to place blame on Assad.

    Or ar least vaccinate me against small pox... As it stands, only a few countries have the capability of all out world wide nuclear war, and I would like to believe those nations are smart enough to not start pressing big red buttons. An un-winnable end of all life as a deterrent scenario and all that. But any idiot country could potentially develop bio-weapons of mass destruction, and any idiot country is potentially short-sighted enough to unleash something they might not even fully understand. With nukes you can stop pressing buttons, but the right bio-weapons could potentially yield an unstoppable runaway process of slow, agonizing, world wide death.

    The US has already detonated nukes. The US has loads of chemical weapons. The US appears to be the loose cannon (idiot country) on the world stage today.... invading another country(s) without provocation.

    This is exactly the same problem we encountered in OccupyLA. Many of the original planners were drowned out, or lets be polite and say OccupyLA just morphed into something radically different than originally conceived. It happens in all systems. See: US Gov't and democracy

    First dump Windows. Then install Linux. (it is just a matter of time for you too) Go from there. As you discover Linux, make notes on which apps do what. Then make a cheat sheets for guests to use. Have them use a guest account.

    I would have a hard time believing that anyone is such a good computer user that they never have issues with Windows. It is just impossible to stay 100% clean all the time.

    BTW... stories like this hitting the mainstream media is in part why there is such a push to limit the flow of information. Those who have become corrupted seek to silence the flow of information. While now we are slaves to debt, soon we'll be slaves because we are just plain ignorant of the world around us.

    USSC.gov. was hacked. Sys Admins put it back online. USSC was hacked again. This time with keystrokes to play tetris and a nyan cat. As of this writing USSC is still down. Someone is pissed.

    So........This is a great excuse to steal more money from taxpayers using fear. The fear instilled in us taxpayers (stuxnet etc) was created by..guess who??

    The game is over .. Anonymous has called it right. This will be an interesting ride over the next few years.

    My father was a research professor in curriculum and foundations @ ohio state univ from mid 60s to mid 80s. he would suggest genius is an irrelevant term. misleading at best. he would never tell me my IQ test results as a kid. IQ was not a good measure of anything. creativity, discipline and a host of other factors contribute to the overall picture.

    he is rolling over in his grave if he looks at the state of public education today from early childhood development through post secondary education and graduate degrees. education in his mind was not meant to obtain a better job, but mostly to increase one's understanding of the world around them.

    our public education system has failed... and since we have a pretty uneducated public, so will the democracy we live in.... (or has it already?)

    14 floppies for the basic install. a friend and i bought cdroms (1x i think)... unfortunately we chose the panasonic interface. once slackware was running with a browser, windows 3.1 was history. then on to anything i could find that would run on a 275mhz Alpha board that i bought really cheap. although i always had an intel box as the main desktop which was red hat. red hat had strong support for Alpha in the 90s. anything but beige.

    when red hat went commercial i went to libranet. then i bought an ibook g4. boredom set in ... so i switched to ubuntu.

    just bought a raspberry pi
