    "Egyptian naval forces have arrested three scuba divers who they say were trying to cut an undersea cable off the port of Alexandria that provides one-third of all internet capacity between Europe and Egypt.
    However the navy who captured the men had no explanation of who they were working for, where they came from or why they would want to disrupt Egypt's internet communications."

    I'm guessing they were planning on adding a bit of hardware in the line but messed up.

    Get internal gps. Dual boot with a no-password windows xp account. The thief will have a much higher chance to log into that. Make it spam a home server with its coordinates every second its on and has access to the internet. Encrypt your linux partition. The key is you want the thief not to just wipe it and sell it, they need to power it on.

    Premium Video Extensions - That sounds like a plugin. Its good if you want to lock people into one video system, but definitely not html 5.

    95% of those java bugs are for the browser plugin. Last time I checked, activeX didnt have a great track record either. They both find about the same amount of server issues. .Net just sells their extra vulnerabilities to the NSA rather than fixing them.
