    Want to reduce the number of killings? Rein in the cops. They kill more than 4x the number of civilians than total police killed by civilians..

    Of course police kill more civilians than the other way around! I know you're using that as a statistic to suggest the police are all corrupt,...

    Your trivializing a serious issue here and no he is not suggesting police are corrupt you are the one jumping to that conclusion.

    The point he is making is that the police are killing far too many innocent people.

    Could it be that the police are turning into a paramilitary force and these "statistics" are just Collateral damage?

    Or, you know... Use RAID how it's intended: To guard against disk failure.
    It's never a replacement for backups.

    RAID is for availability of the system, not for keeping your data safe.

    RAID is Not a backup its like a tire on a car that lets the air out slowly

    Seems to me this is really about exploiting the employee.

    The good places I have worked the interview process is about whether they like the person and will this person be a good employee for the company.

    The company would then train you to meet their standards.

    With this sort of test it is quite plain that you don't wish to train the person and that you don't care about the quality of the code just the deadline.

    Seems like a waste of the company's time to me.

    I agree this poster does sound like a very poor manager or the company he works for has management issues.

    What training programs do you have in place ?

    Was this person doing a poor job because of company work practices ?

    Was he faking that he knew what he was doing because no one showed him how to do it properly ?

    If these above questions could be answered then I think you would find that you would not need to be asking what to do after your Sysadmin / developer went off and found greener pastures.

    With iOS6 and it's very evolutionary nature, and with Google's Android and MS's Windows Phone as competitors, plus the fact IDC and Gartner both put iOS as becoming less relevant with time... what does your gut tell you about the landscape? And what do you think about the competitors to iOS? I would say "iPhone", but my interest is more in the software than the hardware.
