NoSQL just seems loosey-goosey to me. Usually structure is there for a reason. How can a hundred people in an organization work on a database that can change on a whim by any one of them?
NoSQL to me seems both uninteresting and interesting at the same time. I big part of the justification of it seems to be 'I don't want to work with a set schema'. Well there are reasons for schemas and just because it seems inconvenient, usually that isn't a reason for doing anything and you're just going to shoot yourself in the foot in the end. The more interesting aspect of nosql is its ability to easily scale across multiple small servers, as opposed to an SQL database which is a big monolithic thing that is difficult to separate.
I can't help but notice none of the recommended laptops are a replacement for Apple. You can replace the hard drives and memory in them for crying out loud, no one looking for an Apple replacement can handle that kind of freedom. The only answer is to buy the laptop and immediately fill the entire thing with epoxy resin. THEN you'll have an Apple replacement.
Because they will have people in their time with incurable things that want to be frozen, and selling a proven technology will be far more profitable than an unproven one.
Yes, the scientists that have spent decades developing and planning for the day that they can wake this girl up are going to totally forget about immunization. Imagine the big 'DOH' around the room when she dies immediately from a cold.
Reality will be somewhere in the middle of your two scenarios. Chances are the people who wake her up wouldn't just be ready to dump her on the street. It won't be done unless there is some sort of scientific program wrapped around it, following a long period of experimentation and development. These will be a certain group of people who are aliens, because she won't be the only one frozen, and they will almost certainly bond with one another having been through the same experience.
People have volunteered to go to Mars even though they know they won't come back and may die trying, you don't think there are people that would volunteer to travel forward in time a few hundred years to see what things are like? That is basically what this is, except there is no sacrifice being made for the trip because there was no life regardless.
But the court case wasn't about the validity of the technology, just about whether a 14 year old should have her wishes honoured after death. We don't have enough information to judge how informed the girl's wishes were anyway; maybe she was fully counselled about what life might be like after coming back. She could have been asking to be cremated and the father wanted her buried, the outcome of the case would have been the same.
Your windows are installed in a way that water will not get between the frame and the glass. Are these solar tiles also installed so that there are no nooks and crannies for water to get into?
Anyone who doesn't pay for high priced accountant is "voluntarily" donating extra money to the IRS because the tax code is so complex you need a dedicated accountant to find the loopholes.
Just because the cost to make them doubles doesn't mean Apple has to pass that cost onto the customer. What is a markup on an iPhone? If it costs $200 to make now then the retail price will go up by $200, only if Apple chooses to pass the entire blow onto the customer. They could easily eat the whole thing.
Can I? It would be foolish for me to get the i5 processor so I want the i7, and it seems that forces me into the $3K+ fifteen inch models.. which forces me into touch strip.
Or I supposed I could order the old model, but that would mean paying top dollar for a four year old system.
Also.. I am pretty much forced to shell out for Applecare, because will the touch strip keep working? Who knows. The chance of something failing that is soldered in or only available through Apple is maximized.
I'm at that place right now. It's like I'm getting raped in every single orfice. I can't even get the useless base 256Gb SSD and install a third part one of my choice.

That's the one situation that she would automatically be prepared for. If you don't come back it doesn't matter what you were counselled on does it?
No, it is the same. The judge says so in the article. The technology aspect was incidental.

Currently my shingles don't have wiring, these work without wiring?

If they don't bring back people that were frozen in 2016, how will they know how useful their technology is?

They paid for it so why is this news? No different then a custody battle.

Freezing and thawing is a much greater force than any impact. That's what I'm wondering about.

I might miss the esc and function keys

How many years experience do you have with touch strip?

And Linux, like Android does.

Oh this is precious...
