  1. How do I even buy shows? I want on Amazon.ca and only see DVDs for old seasons?

  4. Classic capitalism.. This car has all the drawbacks of an EV with no advantages of an ICE, but we'll price it like the other EV on the market because we don't believe in selling more units and the customer shouldn't have a less expensive choice.

  9. Amazon should be able to sell all shows, not just be able to display certain shows. Same issue with Netflix.

The old network business model has to go. Let a network make shows, make them available to a box, and let me buy what I want. If I like a network I'll buy more of their shows. These old practices are keeping the technology for media watching back in the 80's. I'm getting tired of waiting for this to catch up.

You have to be really desperate to go through that kind of trouble to save $10 a month or whatever it is now. Also, that's probably going to show up on your record at some point.

  13. If the TV networks were torn down today, there would be several companies making shows that would all come to us in a box and we would search in that box for the show and watch it. Netflix is an improvement but it's obvious that the selection is bargain bin for the most part, though the original stuff is coming along.I'm tired of having my choices as a consumer limited because of clinging to old business practices that plainly don't work in this day and age.

  14. If all the cable companies were torh down today, it is likely TV would become a matter of turning on a box, searching on a show name and playing it. The only reason why we can't do this is because these companies insist on clinging to old ways of doing business.

The industry should have fixed this long ago, and I'm getting too old to wait for it.

Why don't they share more of their success with their workers? Maybe then kids will see other people who are successful in development and follow them. When you work for a company you are creating value. If they are going to strip all that value away and leave the worker with the bare minimum of compensation that the market dictates regardless of the value they create then they will get a poor job pool to pick from because there is no motivation to educate in it.
