Do people wake up one day and set out to start the creepiest company they possibly can? Seriously, I haven't started a porn site because of the ick factor but now I think I might because this gives me someone that will sill make me feel good about myself.
Do you have so few friends that you are able to put every single one in your contact list? None ever call you from work or some other place that you don't know?
I'm not convinced that automated cars will follow the same pattern. They're complicated, and the electronics is usually what 'goes' after a vehicle gets old. They will always be expensive to maintain if they are older. Also, how many automated features have we really seen trickle down? Luxury cars have had headlights that could follow the road for at least ten years now and there has been no trickle down.
I think the UI in inkscape can get glitchy from time to time. I recently learned how to control the options menu ribbon at the right and that has helped a lot. The gradient editing took a long, long time for me to get used to but I get it now. There are other things here and there but ultimately I don't find the UI slows me down much when compared to illustrator. There are some things that work better in inkscape. I actually like the way there are large handles to grab in selections.
When I first saw the movie trailer I was looking forward to a sin city type of darkness that could only be done in an R-rated movie. I found out it was PG? It makes me not want to go see it right there.
I think it's more about having the car to get the blowjob in. Or being able to afford a place to live with privacy instead of parents siblings and room mates.
When you have no money it's easier to play video games in your basement night after night for $500 then to go to a date with dinner and a movie and blow $200+ in one night. Also, you have to have somewhere to bring the girl back to, not mommy and daddy's basement or an apartment full of roommates.
Mellenial's grandparents are just living how they thought live was becoming in their country. You can't ask them to predict the sell out that happened when the global economy came in.
People will tell you to get a room mate if it is so difficult. I'm always amused when it is the same people who are so adamant that they shouldn't have to give up their privacy yet they recommend basically the same.
I thought she was sidelined for 2 years? Seriously, what blessed lives these people lead to be taken seriously after screwing up so terribly. If I messed up half that bad at my job I'd be out on the street.
I can't really think of any other company in recent memory that wanted to be American more than Apple, but fair enough. I don't really care where they produce, I just think that a population of people cannot thrive if the biggest fish among them take all the nutrients. Let's have it as a symbiotic relationship or else reject it.
Honestly, I do a lot of graphical work and I find Inkscape (vector drawing) to fit the bill in almost every single case. I go to gimp when I must and it has sufficed for the simple things that are left over.

That has to be the best commentary on the illusion of free market economies yet.

But if you relax that much you're risking getting into an accident. At least, I'd have to relax that much.
You know a company is f*cked up when they can't make a computer from 2016 go faster than a computer from 2012.
You forgot:
- People paying a premium price for their system.
You mean like forcing people to pay $1000 AND wait in line for a Model 3?

What happened to all the Slashdotters that INSISTED that THIS COULD NOT BE DONE? Did their heads explode before they could comment?
Oh and Batman v Superman didn't fail because it was a dark movie, it failed because people want to see more than endless brooding in dark movies.
Ok that makes sense then, because I could have sworn when I first saw the trailer way back it gave me the impression that it was a darker movie.
My point being that it is not restricted. How do you do a movie about insane criminals and keep it PG-13?

Because there has to be enough younger people working to support the huge mass of people retiring.

Well yes I think it makes sense to allow them to leave.. and pay tax at a 5% discount if they want access to the US market.
If the taxi regulations are good for anything, it's keeping out slimeball business tactics like this.
Taxes exist to help out the society that the corporation is a part of, like it or not.
