  1. Haven't even read the summary on Streaming TV May Never Again Be as Simple, or as Affordable, as It is Now (sfgate.com) · · Score: 1

Streaming is already too complicated for me. In the internet age, I don't really pay a service to get me TV shows I pay them to broker the access to those shows. If it falls on me to shuffle my subscriptions around and plan to watch what where, then they're not really doing me much of a service.

  2. Normally when it comes to comics, the original story WAS created out of passion. The movie is usually as successful as they stay true tot he original stories, because if they diverge then they suck everything out of it.

I realize the battery doesn't apply to USB-C port, but why touch the jack that works?

I made a very similar comment below. I just want to keep it simple. I don't want a battery in every single thing I own. One that will probably be at 50% capacity in two years and dead in four. Talk about making my life complicated.

I have a hard enough time finding a set of regular wired headphones that I like. I'm not putting myself through that pail for something that works on 2% of my devices (conservative estimate). Anyone who removes the headphone port is an idiot. It seems that audio quality is getting the back seat these days; at one time we had portable music devices. Now that went away because everyone started to use their phones and the phones are forcing us to go to bluetooth so there goes the best path for audio.

  7. I just bought two wireless charging pads from Costco for $18. How many of these can I get for $18?

  8. The word 'parking' implies that the vehicle was driven there. Or does everyone stop at the curb and carry their scooter to the on-sidewalk parking?

Please explain what power they are gaining over their citizens by forcing all of them to be more knowledgeable and informed when they purchase products? What is the evil motivation? I'm dying to hear it, because it seems to me that a government with plans to rule with abuse would want their citizens less informed, not more informed.

It's simple, all manufacturers will do this, and the customer can walk or ride a bicycle if they don't like it. Isn't that how all "progressive" technology works?
