You are forgetting the risk of the condom cracking, which happens quite a lot, actually. Next to that you are forgetting the odds of performing cunnilingus on a woman also brings risks with it (not a hell of a lot, between 0.5 and 1 in 10.000), but still...
Anyhow, even getting your partner tested doesn't really say anything, because the tests are only 99% sure 6 months after the unprotected sex, so anything in between isn't sure.
Trust between partners is a very important thing, but i wouldn't build my physical health upon it...
In most companies, they just ask a headhunter to find someone to become manager.
Anyway, i was in the exact situation you are now, and i got out by never giving up on going to job interviews, not necessarily to directly get a job, but to test out what strategies in "marketing" yourself work best.
I found that admitting your weak sides, focusing on the fact that you are willing to learn, and are already reading up on several topics (eg. security / programming perl / hacking windows,...) and just be yourself works best.
That's how in 4 years time i doubled my salary and am now at the same level as someone who has his masters degree.
Just be sure to keep on trying, and keep reading up on everything you're interested in.
Of course it isn't perfect, but nothing made by man will ever be. It's in our nature to be biased, even if it's just a bit.
The majority of articles i've read on wikipedia are quite balanced, with some sort of bias that you can directly recognize, so no harm done.
I mean, people are falling all the time for promotional campaigns on television, which are obviously biased, wikipedia is refreshing compared to that, in the sense that it's quite less biased.
Not only that, but TFA states that his mother and sister had committed suicide too 5 years before.
I can imagine that makes a man wonder...
Still, how can anyone subscribe for a hosting solution without backup?
That's like putting your mission critical servers in a garden shed with holes in the roof.
F*ing stupid.
Apparently haven grown up in rural areas is good way to be able to train your internal gps for places without a lot of landmarks.
I grew up near a very wide stretch of dunes, where every dune looks *almost* the same, after a while of having to rely on slight differences, navigating in a city is just kids play, where every badly painted marking, every bump in the road, every lantern with a crack in it becomes a huge landmark...
Try it yourself, you look to big landmarks for general direction (i count the sun as a *very* big landmark, providing you're familiar with where the sun should be at a particular time of the day:D), and very small ones to be sure of where you are exactly.
That was about the lousiest Star Trek Series i've seen, with some exceptionally bad acting, especially Quark, the irritating *dwarf* (Sorry but those Ferengi are just ugly dwarves, nothing else) f**er that holds a bar makes me gnash my teeth for half an hour after i've seen an episode.
I can only hope someone will be so kind as to get something back in TNG style, with TNG philosophy, and hopefully a captain that can live up to Cpt. Picard!
In my country, i was able to add (for free!) a small part to my cell phone contract that i can't be called be telemarketing firms (who have to use special numbers).
Only once i got called by such a firm, i immediately hung up, called my phone company, and threatened them with breach of contract. Haven't received any such call ever after:-)
If you're pretty sure you can start a high pay in a company where you're sure of your job (eg. no trial period), then, and only then, i'd say get that job.
Otherwise you would be foolish not to go for your masters. It's giving you a nice headstart on your paycheck, compared to a Bachelor's degree.
This just makes me sad, not really for DNF, but because Duke Nukem (1) was one of the first games i played, and Duke Nukem 3D was actually a game i loved a lot.
Yeah, but you can block only one layer. A lot of times, there's a layer of ads underneath the blocked one, and they are shown without any possibility to block. (btw: this was on Opera 9, i don't know if they finally changed that)
Some websites still don't fully support Firefox as a browser, when identity certificates are needed (eg websites where you need to login using an electronic ID card).
If you want to login on that site using IE6, be my guest, but i'm guessing that's not exactly what you had in mind, since you, as me and the rest of/. , use an alternative browser.
Nice to read that finally one of those guys will be convict'ed.
Hopefully the rest will follow, but i'm afraid that won't be as simple, as in several countries sending spam still isn't illegal...
Wrong...
A condom is not 100% safe, it reduces the odds of getting STDs with 85% (only staying in your mom's basement with the doors locked from in- & outside is).

Steve, is that you?
No they aren't.

Well, porn is the thing that's searched for the most, so i'm guessing they did that alright...
Then again, if you get non-porn results polluting your search, we get back to Microsoft's usual quality of products..:
You didn't get what you asked for, but you certainly got more of what you didn't want...
I do agree with you.

just great, instead of training dogs to help guide handicapped people, they use them for useless stuff like this.
Way to go, humanity!
In Belgium there is a law that states you can't *oblige* a suspect to incriminate himself, so just invoke that law, and you're safe... I hope (IANAL)
You still need someone actively checking whether the law has expired. The boys & girls at the tax administration won't do it for you.
So unless you're a lawyer, or someone with a proactive lawyer, you would just nicely pay the taxes you shouldn't pay, without ever noticing...

No, please...Don't even mention DS9!

You can come & pry the license from my cold, dead fingers.
Now get off my lawn you long-haired no-gooder!
20+ tabs? Damn, when i have 10 tabs i'm already lost, even with addons to view thumbnails of those tabs...
I'm rather intrigued what will come out of this design contest...
Personally i don't think the sidebar is that good of an idea. Eats away too much space of my screen.

Won't someone think about the rottweilers?!
Seriously though, sign me up for your rent-a-salesman-killer service!
Polish prices, pulled more or less out of my butt
I sincerely hope that was just a Polish expression...
Indeed.

Sorry dude, have to correct you there.
Whiskey is Irish originally, american stuff is named whiskey after that, whisky is scottish by origin, and the liquid from japan is named after that.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Whisky
And don't get me started on that garbage named scotch in america... It isn't scottish, and it isn't even worthy the name of whisk(e)y...
Hell, a bottle of whisky from the 1950's still is a nice old whisky!! The scottish single malts i usually buy are only around 15-20 years old.
No, this means that you should gather your second hand SPARC servers you have laying around, and cash them in.

I don't know where you went to school, but we always learned basic genetics in biology class, starting from 2nd year secondary school (14 years old).
