    It is amazing that these experiments continue to confirm current theories. I was hoping they would find some strange thing that didn't fit, so we could understand why current theories don't explain everything. Maybe next time.

    In a medical database it would need to be more specific. Procedures done for gender transition would be important information. It does start problems in HR databases. I talked to an HR rep I know, and she had a case where "he" needed maternity leave because he was pregnant. Most people at the workplace did not know his real gender. Their HR system didn't support granting maternity leave to males.

    Make the field optional. In addition to male and female, add both and neither. Also, review the reason you even keep that information. It may not be necessary at all.

    When it comes to rights, you can't use public opinion polls. The Bill of Rights is designed to protect the minority from the majority. Phone tracking is not a threat to most people. The government has no reason to be concerned with them. But the few who are a concern have the right to live their lives without unnecessary oversight from the government.

    16 bit software. What OS? Windows 3.1? 2.11? OS/2? DOS? Xenix? Beside the RS-232 problem, finding new hardware for these OS can get difficult. As others stated, you can use VMs to run, but it would help us answer the question if you list the OS. Just finding old OSs can be quite difficult. (legally)

    Every time they try to standardize version numbers, they make it more confusing. 11G database release 1 was 11.0, but release 2 is 11.2. Where was 11.1? App server 9i was actually an 8.0 base. Most of the time I can't even figure out which product I am actually buying.
