Ask the questions you are talking about. Phrase them as ways of showing your background in those areas. Ask what kind of standards they follow, so as to see if you know them. Ask if they are maintaining legacy code, to show you have experience. If the answers are too much for you, move on.
We are finally transitioning to Windows 7 (and IE 8) in the US Navy. A lot of the delay was caused by people fighting tooth and nail not to change from XP. These are not tech savvy people, and they fight any change which may impact their work. As long as their system is working, they don't want anyone to touch it. I see the same with commercial companies. Leave well enough alone.
See what happens when you let technology go wild? Never should have let iron working into the game. Should have banned everything except magic and sorcery.
Oh, I watched that live. That was sickening. Not the shooting, but the blood running out of his head afterward. For those that don't know, he was the Treasurer of Pennsylvania. He was under investigation, and called a press conference. Then shot himself on live TV. The video crew was shocked, and didn't respond. The real sick part was the cameraman continued to follow the action, filming him slumped against the wall, bleeding from the nose. The blood flow was considerable. I would not recommend watching it, but it is floating around the Internet.
I don't know why it has taken Windows so long to handle high-ppi displays. I don't want the text and icons smaller, I want them the same size, only higher definition.
I have hand counted paper ballets. Loads of them come back nearly impossible to understand who they voted for. People often vote for all the candidates. They make mistakes and try to fix them, and you can't tell which is which. Machines that can flag errors for voters would have more of them count.
Another option, AntiSec hacked someone pretending to be an FBI agent. I have run across people like this, who are trying to con you or just getting their jollies.
Many of the places you may want to travel to may have limited cell coverage. I have stayed in many campgrounds where 2G is the most I can hope for. Think about where you want to go before you dive into this plan.
a brooch or a pterodactyl
Or how about Asimov's "The Feeling of Power," where people have been using computers so long they forgot that math existed, and had to reinvent it.
I thought it was the year the Desktop died. Isn't that what Windows 8 is trying to do?
Just imagine!
Why you stuck-up, half-witted, scruffy-looking nerf herder!

Mabye we should be building Beowolf Clusters of something?
For a free, Windows antivirus, it is hard to beat. Not the greatest, but it works and updates automatically from windows update.
Is the new PS3 as thin as the iPhone?
The work around is load firefox or chrome.
Your meme is bad, and you should feel bad

So, it looks like they hacked BlueToad, not the FBI. Interesting who was telling the truth, and who wasn't.
Is there a version of unix that would run on a Z80?
Imagine a Beowulf Cluster of these!

I agree, Another possibility.
If it is real data, no. I have tools that create test data which can make millions of very realistic records. Has Apple verified it?

Because some fires are places where there is no cell service. Now, wifi would be scarce there to, but they may have more wifi then cell coverage.
