Where do you think they get radioisotopes? They dig them up out of the ground. They are all over the Earth already, and the same with Mars. Now, except for a few places, they are very sparse. One of the big problems with going to Mars is protecting yourself from radiation. Without a magnetic field, Mars is bombarded with cosmic radiation constantly. I don't think spilling a few pounds of Uranium on the surface would make a difference.
Since a lot of servers are up and running for seriously long times, the kernel won't change often. Also, since there are a finite number of permutations, it wouldn't be that hard to find the memory location you are looking for.
Not unnaturally, many elevators imbued with intelligence and precognition became terribly frustrated with the mindless business of going up and down, up and down, experimented briefly with the notion of going sideways, as a sort of existential protest, demanded participation in the decision-making process and finally took to squatting in basements sulking.
I dual boot Windows and Fedora. Our production servers are Sun, Redhat and Windows. In trying to hire people, I can tell you it is far easier to find Windows people than any other OS.
And I bet you don't spend most of your day in word processing and spreadsheet programs. If you do, you will find Windows far more useful than any Linux distro.
No, their problem is not being able to hire people who can maintain Linux. So they wouldn't be able to "super easy to switch distros", since they don't have people who can install distros. If you can hire Windows admins, they can maintain the systems with the latest patches and avoid most of the common attack routes used to attack Windows.
Great opportunity for all those Americans who want to get away from the current government to leave. Of course, they have to have a useful skill.

Norway has plenty of firewood. No need for all those forests, I'm sure they can spare a couple.
I can see why they need a science advisor.
Never underestimate the bandwidth of a station wagon full of tapes flying down the highway. Elon is just expanding his network connection.
Or 999 if you are in the UK. Just crowd source solutions to your problems.
Wait, let me Google it... I got nothing. Must be fake news.
Google should delete all references to Canada. Wipe them off the face of the map. Blame Canada!
They may have discovered Hooloovoos by spectral analysis of exoplanets.
Since we are stuck using it for many of our systems, it would be helpful to know how it rates.

Then we can get crappy reception all over the world.
Right right right right down left left left down ... pew pew pew
All those bits are adding up, I can barely carry my phone around any more.
I did the same thing. Hollywood has had many European starlets, but not all were born in Paris.

Yes, Verizon is moving their email accounts onto AOL servers.
I haven't had any issues. Unless they make major changes, I see no reason to move on.

The whistle they give off when someone calls makes me think someone is making tea.
Problem is they would take time to warm up and were a little hot to hold to your ear.
Must be since you can't really read the /. stories on your phone.
That investment happened long before she took over and was part of the stock decline.
