The writers have been doing a lot of character development for the companions, but very little for the Doctor herself. It's like she doesn't have a personality. She is almost a cartoon rendition of previous Doctors. I mean, the stories haven't even really explained who she is to the new companions. And maybe they are trying to avoid the issue, but have done little with the Doctor coming to grips with being female now. The need a few episodes focusing on the Doc.
I don't take anything I read on Facebook as fact. If I care about it, I double check on some more reputable site. Facebook is like the phone service. They provide the means of communications, but aren't the ones making calls. Don't just believe all the random things your friends or pages you follow post.
I am getting sick of all the stupid advertising text messages I get all the time. Now if they can stop the spam robo calls I get all day long. One in particular that keeps wanting me to change my power supplier is particularity annoying.
Several refers to a small count of some group of items. "Few" is a similar word. "Several years" could refer to anything from 2-10 years in conversation. It does not imply less or more than something else. You could say "it took several years more than expected" if you are referring to something taking a longer time. But, it is still referring to a small quantity of years. You could also say it took several years less than expected" if it happened faster than the estimated amount of time.
That is how cable companies started. They were on the outskirts of large cities, where people were too far away to get the signal directly. Someone would put up a large antennae, maybe on a hill, and run wire to people's houses. They would then charge for the service. Broadcasting over the air would let any old TV pickup the signal.
Living at college used to be closer to living in the military. Dorms were spartan, you didn't have a choice at meal time, you ate what was served. Now, no one would go there unless they had a choice of on-campus coffee shops. Students are demanding housing that graduates couldn't even afford in the past. They want every kind of service imaginable. If the school doesn't provide it, they go elsewhere. So, schools are competing to offer great service and living conditions. If they don't, they don't attract the best students. Schools aren't investing the same way in the actual quality of teaching. Only the most dedicated students actually make their decision based on that. All this drives up the cost, and for some reason students are willing to pay.
I had the same thought. Fax spam was a pain. We had a central fax machine, and someone got info on everyone in the company. They would send individual faxes to everyone, all to the same fax machine, always from a different number. About once a week or so we would come into this pile of faxes. We had to move to a digital fax server to stop it.

How very French of them.
After reading this, I now have the Beastie Boys song running through my head.

The real underdog in the CPU race.
Imagine that!

Since they are blurred out, Waze will now direct people through them as shortcuts around traffic jams.
Waterfox and Basilisk, too.
Go ahead. Been done before.
Lucky for you, we have modern technology to help you do that!
Yes! They should upgrade to Vista!
Don't leave out all those users with pirated copies of XP.
There's a lot that needs cleaned up there.
Everyone just thought it was a netbook replacement. It's come a long way.
Did they make Bob for Windows ME?
Because it's one louder.
SpaceX is very interested in that, too.
And less than or equal to 2 to the 6th power.

Unless it's solar powered, then it would run out in the wee hours of the morning.
