I use my PC to play audio cd's AND mp3s through my stereo. The playlist and programing on the PC is much more advanced, convinent, and easier to use then my stereo is. I listen to music when I'm on the computer all the time... wouldn't it make much more sense to just use the computer instead of walking across the room to put a cd in or scrounge up my roomate... And damn, I don't even remember the last time I found my stereo remote.:-) I wouldn't buy one of these cds... Ugh.
I hope a false company wont make it. False product aqusitions? How could they claim to have "LinuxMac" and have no proof of it's exsistance? Something smells stinky about the situation:)
I don't see how the people can lose. If everyone keeps the tarball in circulation there's nothing there going to be able to do about it. How can they stop millions of people from posting it... that would take a hell of a lot of work. Eventually I believe they'll come to live with the fact that the general public isn't as dumb as they want us to be...:\
I was thinking about purchasing a DVD player sometime next month when my books were paid off but this has also changed my mind. I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks like this. DVD is such a great idea, but if the motion picture industry is going to be completely anal about their products, screw them. This is just like the "Is it legal to put a mod chip into a PSX becasue you bought it." Why don't we throw the author of tcpdump into jail too?
Thanks for the information. I think I'll dig the machine out of the dust today and see if I can get it up and working... *sorry for the off topicsness*:)
But what about the millions (AND MILLIONS) of The Linux fans around the world who achieve smiles at the use of their favorite product being used? It's like your favorite sports team winning a game or doing something great... When the Eagles beat the cowboys it made me smile every time I saw it on ESPN... (Of course with antoher losing season I should stop smiling, but hell). I love to hear who's using one of my favorite systems. It's rather interesting:) But I guess it's everyones opinion for themself
It's not your company but a little guidance never hurt anybody... espicially if it's going to help "the underdog operating system" become another spike in the kennel...
Is making love in a canoe good or bad? I'm picturing it being good... I shall speak of this to mygirlfriend. (Sorry for the off topic post, but the pictures of Natile Portman that was posted in Chris' wedding are still making me horn-nay):P hehehehe
Well it impresses me that they were able to do it... but since everyone else on/. seems to think they could program it with their hands in their ass, I guess I'm just on the lower level of slashdot users. *feels his IQ drop 50%* *and feels his self-confidence drop 75%*:P
Suns hardware support isn't too geared twoards the non-commercial user. I still have a SPARCStation 2 sitting in a room here not workable. I don't have the money to take it to a professional to see what is wrong. I get no output from the GX and don't know Sun Hardware to troubleshoot it... I'm kinda' stuck in a rut becasue of it. I don't have anything against Sun, I dislike Microsoft, but non-commercial support is better in the later one... even if it is crappy Microsoft tech support. What I wouldn't give to get my sparc working... (except money, being a college student I can't afford it... I wish college students were eligble for foot stamps):P
I've always loved turkey but there was always soemthing about that roast beef hoagie that I was always dreaming of taking. Espicially with mayonaise and lettuce packed on to it. Well, besides making myself extremly hungry at 12:30am I'm trying to say that a lot of people get bored with the same thing. I mean how many different flavors can you achieve with windows? You can chage the shell to litestep and the like, but it's still basically the same thing. With Linux (or any other flavor for that matter) it allows people to break out of the shell. Personally I believe the world will wake up (with the hell of many companies support) and find that alternative operating systems will be first in businesses then the turkey hoagie... Oh welps, I believe I'm heading up to the Aplus mini-mart for a roast beef hoagie now. Thanks:-)
Yes, Tution here at Penn State is around $6,000+. The less time we use studying just hurts us... Have to remember the 7 P's:) Prior Preperation Prevents Piss Poor Performance
Hmm, actaully I've been pondering buying a new NES console. They still sell the newer NES systems? The one that operated more like the SNES I believe? *shrug* I guess I'll head on over to funco and check and see:)
Thank god my girlfriends college doesn't have such a rule. I don't know what I'd do without spending those long weekends with her in her dorm... mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.... Er, I should shut p now:-)
What about the students studying art? Some consider pornography and art. Most college students a 18 so they should be smart enough to know what their doing and be mature enough to be productive. I can possibly see banning napster if it was talking a large chunk of bandwitch, but not filtering unpolitically correct information or stuff to that sort. That violates many freedoms we have... Hell, here at Penn State and most other campuses I've been at and visited you can pretty much find any mp3, program, or whatnot on the local LAN. Why bother using the outside net?:-) heh....
I've tried one of those kits years ago. They just have rubbing alchool and yellow plastic with a soft strip to apply it. I don't think it worked too great when I had it, but I think I may pick up a new kit and try it out. That'd be great to have a working NES system... A lot of our parties consist of using the NES, so it'd be fantastic:-)

Ohhh... Sorry for being dumb. :) My Yuengling lager never tasted like water tho ;) Oh well... thanks for explaining it. hehe
I followed Mitnick for years, but I still found it chuckle-able :)

Every company starts from the bottom.... Don't they? ;)

Yes, please boycott /. That would make many users happy :)

Actaully I wore a purple outfit with a piano tie. I was going for the Billy Joel attitude. ;P
Oh yay... more masturbation material!! heh
