    Actually, the website proposes spending most of the "night" time inside the office, with the neon lights and all, your body will hardly notice that it is night outside, and when you do get out, the sun is coming out.

    You do know that not everybody is on broadband? Requiring a 30 minute download to finish an OS install doesn't seem reasonable.

    The idea of sending a person to prison is to give him an education, show him where he was wrong and make him an usefull contribution to society. Your view is plainly inhuman and wrong.

    Actually, LSASS is the security validation services that SMB uses to validate a user when he is trying to request a resource, and that validates your user in a network that doesn't use Kerberos... I think login in most unixes runs as root too, so I don't see where microsoft went wront here.

    Wow, those things must be selling fast... according to the link you just posted, it went up to $1499 instead of the cost you put. It has almost de same specs as a 12" powerbook, I rather have the smaller one, and with a dvd-burner.

    Actually, building gentoo packages is VERY easy, it's the thing I like most about it. Most often than not when I need a new package (for instance, pam_pgsql) I just get a similar one (pam_mysql) and change a few things where it is needed. Either that or check bugs.gentoo.org to see if someone already did the hard work. This is a really great reference.

    I actually did a little perl script that checks when the ip changes, and connects via web to my offsite dns web admin interface and updates it :-)

    you can always use v=spf1 +all even tought it is not recommended, it allows you to send from any machine. Not a complete spammers loophole, though, since the domain must be real/registered.

    The issue is there are two Ds in DDoS. Also, with syncookies and stuff, flooding a machine from a DSL is not as trivial as it used to be.
