    And I actually have used the VGA socket to connect my netbook to a projector.

    I just really want the Eee 901 with Ion, but no such luck...

    The Eee 901 Linux was pretty much everything I want from a netbook, excepting the graphics chip. The 701's screen was too small for, for example, most flash video players.

    You're a hell of a lot better off with 30 ping than 130 ping. The spy backstabs refuse to register half the time with 130 ping, Sniper is nearly useless without the Huntsman, and the rest of the classes benefit from low ping as well.

    I should know, I'm almost always playing with 130+ ping, being Finnish playing mostly on servers in the United States.

    Except it works reasonably well in Europe.

    The protection isn't against being fired for any reason at all. It's against being fired for no reason at all.

    Checking the data reveals that the unemployment rates are very similar in Europe and the United States, actually.

    And it offers protection against being ordered to commit illegal acts to keep your job - and offers people significantly more stability in their lives and in regards to unemployment.

    It costs corporations a little more, but the tax difference between most European countries and the United States is significantly more significant.

    Or in conclusion: Your defense for lack of laws preventing unreasonable dismissal, while superficially sound, fails on every level once the actual facts come into play.

    Last for three days straight of very hard use without needing the recharging cradle, that is.

    I place it in it's recharging cradle every night - and missing one or two isn't a problem.

    I never was a dumbass - err, sorry, "made up my mind" - and instead used wired until the technology was good enough.

    Now I'm using the MX Revolution, experience none of the problems you described whatsoever - it's rechargeable, so no batteries, and it lasts for three days straight.

    Plus, it's working faster and more reliable than my (very high quality) wired mouse, 100% because there isn't a tangled cable jerking it around.

    So, luddite, technology improves. Wireless isn't a curse word anymore. We're far beyond infrared.

    I have the MX Revolution. Lasts 36 hours of nonstop use, an excellent scroll wheel, none of the usual lag / movement problems of normal wireless mice.

    It does have it's problems though. The thumb wheel cannot be used for multiple-key shortcut combos, and the scrolling software bugs so badly you want one setting for all applications. And oh, if you have a cat, you'll want a can of pressurized air handy to clean the laser, otherwise the mouse will start moving erratically.

    Hidden sentries, teleporting to enemy spawn, joining unassigned team, cloaktaunting, getting stuck in doors...

    TF2 has had plentiful ways to exploit and grief, only thing saving it is Valve being ever vigilant about exploits like that.
