  1. I don't know on Verdict Reached In Boston Bombing Trial · · Score: 0

Why did this trial take 2 years?? I have not seen any evidence clearly showing Tsarnaev planting a pressure cooker bomb. I have seen a half dozen or so videos of the brothers walking around with backpacks. If you pay attention to these videos you can see at least another half dozen people (men and women) with backpacks of similar size. The only video evidence that leads me to believe he may have done it is the one where the younger brother is close to the front fence and a bomb goes off to the left of him off camera... the rest of the crowd reacts and looks over to the area where the bomb went off... Tsarnaev starts getting out of the area immediately, whereas it takes other spectators a few seconds to start leaving and going to the right.... then 10 seconds later a bomb goes off in camera and the camera goes black. I just want to say I have doubts about all this. It should be well known that organizations and individuals can make a ton of money off events like this. I'm talking stock market action, I'm also talking about new surveillance deals and security apparatuses being sold to the government and private organizations. Just saying there are a lot of people that have motive to set something like this up because they and there friends will profit immensely. Tsarnaev had little motive to do something like this. The only news coverage I saw or heard all had the Tsarnaev's pegged as absolutely guilty from day one. Constant references to "this trial is already over its just a matter of the death penalty" for months. I just want to say I am very worried about how everyone in this country behaves whenever anything "terrorist" related happens. Tell me, have any of you heard Tsarnaev talk freely about what happened that day? In fact I cannot find a SINGLE VIDEO of Tsarnaev saying ANYTHING about all of this. Maybe someone can post some links. If not can any of you explain how what happened here is any different from some of the really awful oppressive countries and governments that you learned about in school during the world wars... russian gulags... siberia never to be heard from again? etc. Look, most likely the Tsarnaevs did do it... but it seems HIGHLY unlikely that there we have brought all parties that were involved in the bombing to justice.

I am not sure what happened on 911. But if you look at some of the eyewitness testimony available on google video you will find it fascinating. There are many people that heard explosions right before the towers went down. There is video of a new york fire fighter with some of his buds saying they heard sequential explosions. I believe this clip was taken very shortly after the towers fell. Is this man lying? Concerning wtc7 there is also eyewitness testimony where people said they heard a thunderclap, then it fell. Here are two conspiracy videos you might want to check out. The first is an mit engineer talking about the collapse. The second deals with wtc7 collapse. I know most videos are from crackpot nuts but there can be some really good eyewitness testimony in them. Are these people just plain liars. What is the deal?

The weird multitasking model is called cooperative multitasking.... and it sucks. Dont get me wrong I love macs though and I am posting this message with my personal b&w g3 and it rocks. But, if you run rc5 or other stuff in the backround that like to either a) eat up cpu or b) eat up memory they will not perform well with the coop multitasking model if you ARE actually multitasking:) macOS likes to dedicate all its resources to whatever application is in front or is currently being called (like an http server) Ex. I have rc5des running in front I get a get request to my http server and suddenly rc5 goes from 1.4mkeys/sec to 50k/sec. Now I realize you can set rc5 to not be as responsive to other app resource requests but if you set it that way your system runs slow as hell. I mean slow where it takes 30 seconds to pull down a menu. Macs just plain dont multitask as well as windows or linux boxes. They are actually pretty horrible in some setups.

You are obviously very ill informed about apple computer, and macs in general. First of all, all g3 based macs and other non apple comps like prep beboxes etc. currently have the capability to run at 464 mhz with a g3 upgrade card. The standard ibm/motorola powerpc g3(750) currently scales from 233 to 450 mhz (I think they are trying to phase out the lower speeds though). Anyways as far as low busspeeds all the newer powermac g3(revision2's) run on the 100mhz busspeed and contain 1mb of half core clock backside l2 cache. Models under 350 mhz contain only 512k though... As for agp current macs dont have it, but they have a graphics pci slot that runs at 66mhz (like agp slots) but doesnt make use of the agp2x stuff.
Currently imho agp isnt all that important now.. it will be with 4x but what current game really honestly takes advantage of agp. The games that will are the large texture based games that can take advantage of agp texturing. Btw. my g3 400 with a ati rage128 with 32megs of ram runs q3 just about the same as a voodoo2 equipped pentium3 450.
    Not to mention in 32bit....

Okay, dont flame me or anything if I'm wrong but the last time I checked, Websters dictionary defines a law along the lines of any "well observable scientific phenomenon" and a theory as a "general principle formulated to account for a certain observable phenomena". Now I think many of you guys are missing the point that a theory attempts to explain a law (something that happens) like gravity. AFAIK there are no strong theories that attempt to explain why gravity happens. But gravity is in no way a theory... there are theories about gravity.
