With all the hype surrounding Xf86 4.0 and all the video card manufactures helping out I wonder if there is anyway that we could get Legit DVD decoding support. I mean some of the video cards out there have it built in. I hope that they think about doing this. Maybe after the court thing is settled we can get atleast binary only drivers in Linux and other os'es. Just a thought....I want my DVD to work in Linux! I have played with the latest nightly builds and everyday they are getting better. Also the Linux version has the wheel mouse support in...so therefor I have been using Mozilla over Netscape 4.7. The wheel scrolling option is just awesome when browsing web-pages! So how many people wanna put money on Opera releasing a beta today or tomarrow? This is gunna be great. Anyway I hope the Mozilla project and Opera projects do well. I sure am looking foward to them and also looking foward to products that will allow us Linux users to create Flash Webpages!
Hey guys I run http://loki.linuxgames.comand I think that this could give all of a chance to prove that there is a market for Linux. Now that DiabloII is delayed maybe there is a chance to get Loki in the picture to start porting the game. That way we will have a Linux Version on Shelf at the same time as the Windows version. I'm willing to put up a page to sign a petition to port Diablo II to Linux. If anyone can help me out here...please email me! I need someone to help out on the news section and the Petition! This may seem off topic...but what-ever happened to mp4's? Last I heard was that NWA used it for a song. I sure hope that mp4's come soon cause I can't stand the quality of mp3. Most people can't tell the difference, but when you create music of your own you really see the difference when cd-audio is converted to mp3. It takes alot away (espically brain-wave synch, and different types of echoes). Anyway when mp4's come out I hope these modern mp3 players will have upgrades to play mp4's!
I find that this is just another way of hurting the enviroment. Sound like flamebait eh? Seriously tho...this seems kinda stupid if you ask me. I mean what are they gunna make disposible next....computers? I still use 486's ect. Don't get me wrong I like fast computers (I got a P3 500) but this is just stupid if you ask me:") FLAME AWAY!

I think Redhat is doing great. Most of the people that complain about Linux are the true hackers out there. I for one use Slackware (on a older computer) Redhat for my webserver (Did this because its the less painful to maintain), Debian (to play games, program and play mp3's) and of course LinuxPPC (its a Mac). Alot of people are maybe paranoid that if RedHat becomes to powerful they will turn Linux into a GUI dependant/to much crap OS.
