    yes I'm a customer and use a dedicated server at a french hosting company to watch youtube. Without it it's unusable because of buffering, with it a 720p video downloads way faster than necessary.

    Stopping at the asteroid would probably take much more fuel than going all the way to Mars. Because stopping at Mars is free thanks to it having an atmosphere that can slow the ship down.

    If they shovel shit to their customers, I suspect they won't do very well. The desktop gaming crowd won't evaporate overnight, and I suspect they'll prefer buying the corridor FPS of the day which has more eyecandy on powerful boxes rather than the shit looking one.

    If third party steam box exists with better hardware, these developers will want to ensure their game look better on them, or lose sales to competing games who will.

    And yet Intel has a demo of a raytraced (or maybe raycasted ?) Wolfenstein game. So ovviously there's a middle ground between raster graphics and OMG 2 hours per frame! Renders.

    No upgrading yet, wait for Crysis 4. It should be running on the PSBox4 and hopefully this will give some freedom to the dev to do something as good looking as Crysis 1.
