    It solves a narrative problem as much as anything. A lot easier for audience to understand having the actor say something and the computer answer than to show typed in stuff... this usually looks pretty lame.

    I see virtue signaling all the time on the internet and I bet you have to where people fall all over each other to 'agree' or drop terminology that means they are with the 'in' group. I am sure you can find this (in spades) on conservative and/or religious forums as well.

    That's bullshit. I hate the guy as much as anyone but with ponzi scheme people lose money. Yes he lied and broke many disclosure laws but he wasn't actually stealing money. My guess is he gets off light with just parole or something.

    It's surprisingly difficult to get statistics on this but I haven't been able find anything saying it is actually at 'record highs'. Lots of deceptive use of statistics IMHO....

    I am not surprised you found something to counter my argument, but really the point was that trying to gauge the health of a generation is completely arbitrary, or at least in this case (of the OP).

    I don't think this characterization is entirely fair sometimes smartphones are used to find some forgotten fact or settle some nit (from the small talk) leading to more conversation.... just depends on the people having the conversation.

    I think US made trucks and SUV's are passable but when is the last time they made a decent car? They really are awful (hint they want you to buy a higher profit margin SUV or truck). Why would that change going to electric?
